Scott Peterson loved his wife too much to harm her, his family and in-laws say.

[history]
MODESTO - He shuns the daily press briefings, the cameras and the numerous requests for interviews. No Larry King. No Connie Chung. No ``Good Morning America.''
Instead, every morning Scott Peterson slips quietly through the double glass doors of the Red Lion Hotel and walks down the hallway, past the atrium with a pool and a gazebo, past the poster advertising a $500,000 award for the safe return of his wife, Laci Peterson. He enters a makeshift command center for volunteers and works quietly, answering e-mails, making phone calls, talking to volunteers.

Sad story. Who knows what went on with them really .....?

The only thing I am sure of about this case, is that God has another angel in heaven now, or maybe two.
Let those who are sinless call this man a murderer, until there is some evidence of that beyond the mere fact that we do not know where his wife's body is.
Love, crystalk.

Alameda County Search and Rescue teams used dogs to search the waters off Berkeley Marina in hopes of finding some clue in the case of missing mother-to-be Laci Peterson. Chronicle photo by Michael Macor

Egad. Now, if it turns out he did it, I'll REALLY say I've heard it all.
So he's a self-effacing person. So that's probably why he doesn't get all over TV. Okay.
But how do you be a successful entrepreneur/salesman, with such a personality? No offense to such people, but that's just not the personality I associate with them.
Hey, wait a minute. If Scott selflessly stopped to help those people broken down on the road, and didn't want to be recognized for doing such a nice thing, how did they even know his name, to be able to find his mother and send her two different letters of gratitude?
Well, he sounds like a nice guy, anyway.

the onion had a pretty funny article, something about "media to try suspects to help free up bloated justice system" we could get some FReepers to do the same!

Early this morning I felt she could hear me. She thanks you. He knows she's dead. Now how does he know that? What an absolute idiot. He will get the gas chamber.

Hmmm. Maybe he didn't do it? Last week I was thinking he did.
OTOH, it's so freaky.
Here's another theory. If Laci went to the park with the dog for a walk and some icky person stopped to ask her something, and Laci being a nice person answered them, something could have happened.
And the fact that I live in the Bay Area, this makes me feel scared a bit. Thank goodness I don't go anywhere (except take the bus to work and home) alone. Ever. My husband is ALWAYS with me.

Any other information RB?

yep, and they still have no sign of the lady that disappeared in Campbell about 18 months ago

KBZ, being from the B.A., like me, we both know that there's some super freaky people here.
You get this all the time "Excuse me but do you..."....etc, I generally ignore these people, unless they're well dressed, even then, I'm apprehensive, and I won't talk to people like that unless I'm with my husband.
It's very possible a homeless crazy person did her in, one of these "Excuse me..." people, and her being in Modesto, maybe she wasn't aware of them, and was sweet and tried to answer them?

They often invited friends over for parties to watch ``The Sopranos'' Badda bing... He did it.

``They never argued,'' he said. ``I remember one of her girlfriends said, when the girls would get together they'd complain about their husbands, but Laci never did.'' This right here seems unnatural. I worked with a woman who told us one day that she and her spouse never argued, never did argue. A couple weeks later she calmly stated they were divorcing ---I asked why since they never argue and she said they still aren't arguing --you have to actually love someone enough to argue. And women who don't complain one bit about their husbands usually are facing problems they either don't want to discuss or acknowledge. I'll bet he had someone on the side and felt the wife was holding him back in his career by insisting they stay near her family.

"...I live in the Bay Area, this makes me feel scared a bit. Thank goodness I don't go anywhere (except take the bus to work and home) alone. Ever. My husband is ALWAYS with me." That's just awful! Why in the world do you stay there? I'd get the heck out.

Does anyone know what happened to the dog she was walking?
To: hillsborofox
My husband would always be with me no matter where we lived and due to jobs we are here.
Best,

the latest is I've heard on Fox news they've found a body in a ditch and they're seeing if it's hers. Anyone have anymore news of this?
