I give up ---who's the Breaking News Shower Crowd !

Back last Spring or Summer there was a Breaking News thread about a plane with a problem, and a lady FReeper posted that her hubby was on that very flight. She noted that she was going to take a shower and would FReepers please keep her advised on any updates. Well, you can imagine the replies to THAT? It was a riot to most folks, but she caught heck and was offended that folks would do that. There were some graphs posted of women in the shower (none that I saw were of the lewd type). It turned into a Shower thread and was eventually pulled.

One more thing. During the exchanges, the lady FReeper (I believe it was her) commented "I'm series!", meaning "serious". And here they go again.....

Amazing how little AM radio I listen to when Limbaugh's not on...I had no idea Hannity was on in Richmond!! Is he live in the timeslot just after Rush?! I'll haveta start listening to that...didn't 910 usedta be totally sports?!

My bad, it's 990 not 910. I usually am in the car so I don't pay that much attention to the station number. In any event, it's another tape delay. Sean comes on at 6pm if he isn't being pre-empted for some football or basketball nonsense. What is with Richmond and the tape delays anyway?

Rush continues to say stupid things. I heard his rant about tort reform and insurance premiums. What tort reform or lack thereof went into the setting of car insurance premiums on the basis of your credit report? Driving record does not matter these days but your credit report does. A blind person with a great credit report could get better rates than an accident free debtor. If it were a real article posted on Freerepublic yesterday the insurance industry is reported to have said that tort reform will make no difference in premiums. Last night on the national news there was a report about home owners who file a claim and then get black listed and cannot then obtain home insurance. What tort reform is going to fix that corrupt practice?

Happy New Year to you, too, my FRiend. I reckon "angry" was not the right word, but I've been around here a long time and have not seen the sorta "FReeperCasteSystem" yer earlier post implied. I thought hard before posting this thread to "Breaking News" and still believe it was justifiable, whereas I would not post a Limbaugh Discussion thread to Breaking News were I to do one fer today's show.

I disagree...Tort Reform is one of the most important things to be addressed this year, and I believe it will be!! It'll be a boon to our economy to get the Trial Lawyers outta Productive People's Business to the greatest extent possible...Tort Lawyers are lowlife, scumbag LeechesOnSociety, producing nothing and destroying much.

Would this review be the one in the weekend section? He was the only review to pan TTT. Have you seen the chart? The movies are listed down the left, various newspaper reviews listed across the top. Everyone but the RTD liked TTT.

I saw it this past weekend and loved it. What does that maroon know?

The chart includes his perception, but his actual review came out in the Weekend Section on 12/19. I sent my letter the next day and they printed it yesterday.
