The Racist Card is Alive and Well in America Against Republicans Because they did not take a stand
The more this gets played out, no one was going to give a damn about the racist card again. It would of been a finished issue in American Politics. One that will never again be able to be used by the rats AGAINST REPUBLICANS.
Clintons statements about the south went way over the top and the american people heard and saw it for what it is and what he and the democrats stand for, Nothing more than race baiters and racist themselves that want to keep blacks down and mad at white people and start a race war in America.
We can end racist as a issue now if we republicans and conservatives take a stand.
That is why this is playing on and on. Its the rats last chance and they know it. If they lose this one issue they have no base they have nothing. Democrat Rats will be finished.
Instead the GOP did not support Lott and backstabbed him over and over. Now they want to elect to the Senate leadership an abortion supporter. Its a sad day in America for conservatives.
In the end Lott is still going to be called a racist by the left and with this win by the left it will go on and on.

I agree with everything you posted. However, we were not grading Bush, we were talking about PARKING LOTT, and his holding on to power at any cost.
Thanks again, for outlining all the stupid things that Bush does. MY problem, and your problem was that the other alternative was AL GORE!
Merry Christmas

grace...check out Frist and the scandal with the HCA corp in which he and his familly are major stockholders, in there you will find Catholic Church deciding not to do business. On a personal note, there are many on Frist, just use google. I did,
His family profited from hundreds of millions stolen from medicare and their company pleaded guily to 69 felonies. Its all there just pick and chose.

Repectfully, I was responding to your comment relative to "getting on with the Pres's agenda" As for Gore, he would have done what Bush is doing at a much faster pace with the result the same (see the salami approach below):
I was just giving an "overview" of Bush's agenda. When you do this, we see a pattern forming with seemingly un-related
items. This is known as the salami approach, which is to say, one slice at a time. Newt made the mistake of taking too big of bite relative to change and that is what did him in. Bush is a much cleverer politican, which is to say, more duplicitious, than Newt was.
Of course, they throw us a "crumb" every now and then and, fools that we are, many buy into their lies and their duplicity.

The fact that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have applauded Lott stepping down should make us pause and wonder...are these the allies the GOP really wants to be sided ideologically with?

TLB dont you see that Karl Rove is 20 moves ahead of you again?
Lott will stay in the Senate until the Iraq war is over taking everything out of the headlines and then resign to replace himself with Haley Barbour in 2004.
Have patience..

Oh, but, I do. I've been called a communist, disruptor, democrat, libertarian, clown, tin foil hat wearer, Bush- whacker etc,, however, when I challenge them to refute what I say, I receive no replies.
Gotta leave for work.

P.S. the thought just occurred to me, when Saddam gets his, can it be said he was BushWhacked? Sorry about that.

I googled and didn't find anything substantially bad about Senator Frist himself. Point me to something from a reputable source that ties the senator to anything bad.
It still seems that he is pro-life, not pro-abortion. Again, point me to a reputable source that proves he's pro-abortion.
I'll quickly change my view if I can see the proof.

What are Jesse and Al going to say publicly, "Darn, we were hoping he stayed so we could use him as a pinata"?
They wished Ol' Trent would've stuck around as ML, believe me, especially after that groveling display on BET that sealed his doom with the GOP.

Grace...
I do not do research for others. I did mine and have my own opinon. I am not interested in changing others opinons, that is for them to do.
