FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Colorado State quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt, the Mountain West Conference offensive player of the year, was arrested on a charge of verbal harassment Friday.
Van Pelt was outside a nightclub early Friday when he began arguing with another man, police spokeswoman Rita Davis said. He was charged with harassment, a misdemeanor, and was released on $150 bond.

I'd have him arrested, too.
Lucy Van Pelt arrested, charged
Good grief!
Sad but true. The offended party probably ran home crying and told his mother too.
Is what he said on a list of prohibited statements?
Couldn't they just have required him to apologize? Everyone else is apologizing for everything, inclduing things they never did to people who are no longer around.
Strange that an athlete would be charged with something like this when so many others have gotten away with felonies.
Sounds a little too Orwellian for my taste.
