But make no mistake. If Lott resigns, he might as well put on a white hood because it will appear to be an admittion of being a racist. This is far more complex than Lott being inept. And it pisses me off that so few Republicans don't see it.

If you saw the original tape....everyone in the rotunda laughed when Lott said that Mississippi suported Strom....when Lott continued with the now infamous comments, there was dead silence....everyone in the hall knew it was wrong....except Lott....he's gotta go..

There you have it folks: the lefties have already dropped Lott...and are going for the throat of one of the most popular and principled presidents in US history....next up: Algore (or Hillary or Daschle) in '04.
Right media brining up Kennedy taking about his 'mentor'...a segregationalist...and mentioning the double standard. Well, that's something at least.
