Drat. I was hoping you'd change the title to "Every Time I Forget My Meds Something Bad Happens".

So I guess you're the designate DU troll for the day huh? You think they're drawing (virtual) straws over there? Or maybe a Twister spinner.

It's still there, click on "History".
It's a must-read.
To: hellinahandcart
Anyway, the author has a unique "voice", don't you agree? LOL Yes.
But the premise and concepts are the same whinney, snivleing, drivel that usually comes out of the demented thought processes of the lib-idiots

Let's hope your experience "being poor" was a good incentive for you to better your situation instead of whining and crying for some gov't handout taken from someone who earned it.I second that statement.
Been there, done that. As a (much) younger man I lived for a week on a head of lettuce and a salt shaker of salt along with tap water.
Sure made me want to better myself.

You think they're drawing (virtual) straws over there? Or maybe a Twister spinner. Hmmm...could be, but I was thinking it was along the lines of a Chutes & Ladder spinner! (Dang, now I'm showing my age!!)

This one may need Thorazine...
Like this?

I love the ZOT! It's so beautiful... I love the smell of sizzling disruptors in the morning.
To: Tijeras_Slim
Yes, but I think the T71 dosage would be required.

So, the late Zot was too proud to beg for money to get back and forth to work, but not too proud to DEMAND an entire building that he/she/it did not work to earn, in order to house others who make a lifestyle choice not to work? And would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those darn GOP kids...
Do you think the Admin Moderator would zap Zot again, for my reading pleasure?
To: Tijeras_Slim
Like that, only bigger.. a lot bigger...

And another thing -
Are you so ignorant as to believe that the economy responds "instantly" to any political change?
Do the laws of supply and demand, as reliable as gravity, suddenly suspend themselves when conservatives are elected?
The reality is that economic consequences take longer to manifest than the political incentives that caused them.
I, for one, am throwing everything I can into this "down market", because I know, in about 15-20 years, Bush's economic policy will manifest in a market boom - and I'll be able to retire at 55.

Hey, thanks :D. (title)
To: dighton
He cleverly hides the truth in plain sight:
BECAUSE OF THIS NOW my dreams to the shelter are darkened, I can walk away and forget about it but no, I will keep trying even if I die in the process, I have a dream and I ill do it.

I think the first time I REALLY realized how incoherent the radical left is was when I was listening to a talk radio show back during the Dole-Clinton campaign. This girl called up and she was terrified that all Dole was going to do was take away her abortion and vibrator. From listening to her you could tell she was educated (grammer, etc.). She was almost in tears, though, over her fear that Republicans would come in and take away her abortion and her vibrator. Limbaugh (I think it was Limbaugh) talked to her for about eight minutes, trying to draw out opinions on any aspect of political importance. It became clear that she'd never thought about fiscal policy, defense, taxation, judicial appointments, or anything else. Her entire political world was based on the fear that the mean old Republicans were going to come in and destroy, well, everything! All that, you know, good stuff, you know, that, you know, we as Americans take for granted, you know, and that other people just, like don't have access to, well in some of those countries.
This guy is in the same category (with the exception of the grammer part). He has made no effort to effectively organize his thoughts, and this is a genuine post reflecting his legitimate fears and desires. There are two possibilities that could keep this guy from spending his life wandering the streets talking to nobody:
1. He grows up
2. Our candidates stay in office and protect him from getting the kind of government he THINKS he wants
In a way, it's a shame that the original post was deleted, but you can access it by clicking on his history. However, and here's the scary part, this guy really believes what he wrote, and that's as good as he can think.
