Celebrities to Send Bush Anti-War Letter
LOS ANGELES (AP)--Mike Farrell and Anjelica Huston will release a letter Tuesday signed by a hundred celebrities who want President Bush to stop his war rhetoric toward Iraq.
The letter reportedly is signed by stars including Kim Basinger, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Lange and Martin Sheen, publicists for the event said Monday.
Details of the letter weren't released.
Bush has threatened military force against Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, saying the dictator has amassed weapons of mass destruction that pose a danger to the United States.
United Nations weapons inspectors are searching the Middle Eastern country for such devices but have turned up little so far.
Farrell, who plays a veterinarian on the NBC drama ``Providence,'' previously compiled a celebrity-endorsed letter in June asking U.S. senators to vote against a plan to bury the nation's nuclear power waste at Nevada's Yucca Mountain.
Co-signers of that letter included Alec Baldwin and Tim Robbins, Rob Reiner, Barbra Streisand and Harry Belafonte.
On July 9, senators voted 60-39 in favor of the Yucca Mountain project.

Whoopi taking a shot at Bo? The liberals/Demonrats(same thing) are always the ones making the most nasty comments time and again. They show their complete ignorance in blowing off President Bush as an "idiot" and they show their complete ignorance in issue after issue. They have no respect for the United States(a country they are citizens of and live off of) and are the biggest snobs, rich a**holes around. I forgot to add Jayne Russell as another Republican. And I believe that was Robert Mitchum introducing and saying how "America needs George Bush" at the '92 GOP convention? The best of Hollywood was Republican. The ugly, unoriginal phonies of today(where are they offering to do for their country?) being Demonrats speaks for itself.

Was this letter, by any chance, written in crayon?

..... Do you know that if Saddam nuked New York, no democrat could win the presidency for many years? There wouldn't be any fraud voters left. .....
uh, not to make too fine a point of it but if half the citizens of New York were removed by Saddam, the number of Demo votes wouldn't change as changing their status to dead does not eliminate them from voting Rat.
p.s. I don't want NY to be destroyed by a Nuclear bomb. They're our idiot little brother who we will defend to the death. Now, when the external threats are gone, he gets a pounding from older, wiser, brother.

Two of my favorite quotes regarding actors:
Acting is merely the art of keeping a large group of people from coughing. -Sir Ralph Richardson
Actors are the opposite of people. -Tom Stoppard

The TV show "Politically Incorrect" displayed the total, and complete ignorance of celebrities. They really don't have a clue... I know. The celeb guests were always a lot funnier than Maher, and they were trying to be serious. I'm sorry they took the show off the air.

This list of actresses and actors of Final Fantasy would never abuse their celebrity power, although of course their creators would. Still, the time of ghosted thesbians is approaching. Technology is cool, huh?

I signed the petition. The petition said exactly how I feel about those loudmouth movie star, Ronald Reagan wannabe's [but don't have a clue about who he was], who have let their "acting" go to their muddled heads. The lot of them can eat dirt (sand from the mideast, preferrably) and die.
