If Iraq expresses solidarity with al-Qaida, and al-Qaida expresses solidarity with Iraq, peaceniks face a difficult challenge in arguing that they represent utterly disconnected phenomena.

Outside of a pair of factual errors (the War of 1812 was fought, with the exception of naval actions and a couple of battles in present-day Canada, exclusively on American soil; and while we quickly overwhelmed Mexico, a couple of battles in the Mexican-American War were fought on American soil), this is a keeper.

This is great. Thanks.
It's all about oil
If all we wanted from Iraq was oil, we could have gotten it more easily by making peace (not war) with Saddam.
