"Fox and Friends" reports today that latest Hillary asked for "Hardball" questions ahead of time
"Fox and Friends" 12/6/2002 ^ | 12/6/2002 | n/a

Sorry if this is a duplicate post--I did do a search before I posted this and couldn't find anything.

On Fox and Friends this morning they reported that Hillary's last appearance on "Hardball" was a sham. Her lackeys had demanded all questions in writing ahead of time before the interview. At first, the show refused to do this but caved in the day of the show and gave her the questions ahead of time. To repeat: Hillary got the interview questions ahead of time!!!!

And this wretched FemiNazi HAG--supposedly the "smartest woman in the world"---is too insecure to actually have a real interview, but thinks she's entitled to be leader of the free world?

All I can say is this just confirms what we've always known about the Clintons: there's nothing genuine about them, and every word and action is carefully schemed and plotted ahead of time.

Fox...doing softball interviews...they're very good at it themselves lately.

I saw an afternoon anchor do an excellent interview yesterday; asked a Muslim leader some questions that I'd never seen anyone have the gumption to ask before. His name is "Bob," came on before Shep at 3:00. His guests were a Muslim leader, Eric Vickers or Victor, I think the name was, and Mansoor Ijaz. When Vickers kept saying that mdoerate Muslims do not reflect violence, he asked why we weren't hearing from the leaders. Vickers said we were. When Bob said he wasn't hearing them and Vickers said he wasn't listening then, he went to Ijaz, who said that the excellent speech by the president yesterday in the Islamic Center, which should have been made by a Muslim, really made him the leading spokesperson for peaceful Islam in America today. Vickers was clearly going crazy, but Bob was done with him. While I would have liked to see the interview proceed differently than it did, he asked the hard questions and would not allow his guest to bully him. FNC needs to give this young man more air time. He's got a future!

Actually, I trust Matthews; I think he gets a bad rap on FR. He's a liberal democrat through and through, and some of his shows drive me crazy, but I think he's essentially honest. He really gave it to the Clinton's during the impeachment because he felt betrayed by these two. And he was one of the few democrats honest enough to see through them. He's one of the few democrats I respect enough to listen to. On a good day, he articulates his positions well, even if I do disagree with him. He's reminiscent of the old democratic party--fuzzy headed but warm hearted. They've long lost the heart, but Chris hasn't come to terms with that yet. I far prefer Chris over Alan Colmes. Now that's a thought--Hannity and Matthews. Not sure who would get the last word, but they are worthy opponents.

Fox does a reasonible job questioning foes of the neocons, it never lets the rubber meet the road when they have an administration spokesperson on tho. I used to like Fox, but it's nothing but a mouthpiece for the neocon faction of the reps anymore. Shame, we almost had a fair and balanced news channel for awhile.

Has Hillary ever been interviewed live by Tim Russert?

I saw the F&F segment in question and my take was that Cris did not give her the questions. She held out until minutes before airing and went on any way.

Like they say on the cop shows, you can't rely on eye witttnesses.

My rememberance is that there was another show where Hillary insisted on and did receive the questions.

F&F was critical of her gall to request the questions and said the request was not uncommon but refusal was routine.

I have no problem whatsoever with Fox News. The "mainstream media" is owned by the left--CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, PBS, NPR, and anything produced by HollyWierd. Furthermore those networks allow the New York Times and Washington Post (both leftist rags) to dictate what the lead stories of the day are going to be.

The fact that there is a Fox News channel is enough balance for me. Before they came along, there was no other alternative to the DNC propaganda machine.

Yes, and it was a softball interview. No home run pitches by Timmy, but the serious demeanor and furrowed brow disguised the easy questions. She replied with that strange little fake laugh, 'Now, Tim, you know...'.

She's not a good interview. Her answers are repetitious and she tries to sell her answer by looking serious and sounding authoritative....and fails at both, IMO.

When you strip away all the "mystique", Hillary! is just another boring full-of-sh*t politician. She knows this, too. That is why she and her staffies try to use every trick possible (pre-screening questions, pre-screening the audience, etc.) to make her appear to be something better than what she is.

...not that it made much difference because the audience was almost all lefties (some even booed Hilary because she said she supported the military)

The boos were the expected and desired reaction from this crowd. They help to paint her as a "moderate" in the eyes of the clueless

From your link to the Newsmax article:

He sounded somewhat stunned that Sen. Clinton's would presume he would rig the interview and help her cheat.

If I, a housewife far from DC, know this is the way she operates how come Chris Matthews doesn't?

Fine to reveal the asking for questions, but what's with the "surprise" on his part that the asking would take place?

It sure wouldn't take much to make her appear to be something better than what she is! LOL.

Bill and Hillary did an excellent snow job on the public - framing themselves as the smartest two people in the country. When we disagree with them, it's because WE are not as intelligent.

Oh lordy ! You might be right ! I can see it now -- Gore or Kerry too shrilly liberal for you ? Oh but let's look at Hilly -- she's such a moderate -- so soft and understanding -- loves the children -- understands women's issues, etc. Doesn't mattter what the truth is...just what Hillary says about herself -- after all, didn't Nancy Pelosi describe herself as a "conservative Catholic" (yea sure -only in her darkest dreams)

Please! We must moderate ourselves. After all, just because Chris Matthews is "Scrotally Challenged" well....

Actually, we know that this is not a deficiency for the Hildebitch!

CLINTON PARSING ALERT.

Claim: HE did not give HER the questions.

So perhaps his PRODUCERS gave HER the questions.

or perhaps his PRODUCERS gave HER PEOPLE the questions.

or perhaps his MAIL BOY gave her MAIL BOY the questions.

or perhaps HE gave HER THE ANSWERS...

ASK THE CORRECT QUESTIONS FOLKS. GO GET THEM

I used to watch Matthews during the Clinton thing because I liked his take on it. I too thought he was justifably harsh with them as they deserved it. However, he has become a complete chamelion, you never know what side of the fence he's gonna come down on and I don't like people who don't really know what they stand for. I think your right that he really is a liberal democrat. He does at times ask some tough questions but he can't shut up long enough to let anyone answer a complete question. I got so I wanted to scream or tear my hair every time I watched him and so decided I would NOT watch him anymore because he's just to changeable. Besides it makes me mad when he won't let, especially a Conservative, finish an answer.
