Leader of Gay Pride Organization is Charged with Sexual Abuse

(KMOV) -- The president of a St. Louis gay and lesbian group has been charged with sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy. Rolf Rathmann, 37, is president of Pride St. Louis. Prosecutors say Rathmann is one of four men suspected of having sex with the same 14-year-old victim.

Rathmann is accused of having the sexual relationship with the boy over a five-month period. St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch says the acts took place at Blue Bird Park in Ellisville.

What really caught my attention with this situation is at least this one local station ran the story but it has yet to appear on the news website of our very liberal St. Louis Post Dispatch.

I am considered an etnic racist when I say I'd feel more comfortable with fewer Muslims, because I think too high a percentage of them don't like me and don't speak out against their violent brethren (speaking strictly as an infidel of course).

I am considered a homophobe and am in jeapordy of being accused of hate crimes because of my thoughts about gays and the fact that too large a percent of these people target and abuse minors.

I do not see how you can live a diviant lifestyle and not do diviant behaviour. I see little difference between gay behaviour and child abuse. Neither is natural. Neither has any purpose other than sexual satification.

What, a member of a group that is defined by its sexuality committing a sex crime? The horror of it!

Is sexuality a defining human element? Is it a basis for identification? Is it a right?

I just want to know if these people are willing to take their ideology to its conclusion. They define themselves by it, and now, we see, piece by piece, they act on it, too. Good for them! Let them break the law until the law breaks them.

Americans have the good sense to allow the ridiculous alone until the ridiculous touches their own lives. I don't imagine that the child's parents are feeling too good about gay rights round-a-bout now.
