As for killing one to prevent the death of many (Star Trek ??) terrorists cannot use this as justification when they kill civilians -- if they feel that war is the only answer for their dire situation, then let them declare war and fight like men -- and again, the preventable diseases, poverty, perhaps even the death of kids throwing stones are the fault of the corrupt and blind leadership who have squandered the money (given for their people) in their own selfish bids for more power -- Do you wonder how many lunches that rocket launcher could buy ? And what about Arafat's wealth -- is he helping his downtrodden people ? -- nope ! he's buying gold plated faucets for his hotel. What about fellow Arabs who CRY for the poor Palestinians -- Saddam or the Saudis ? Good Lord ! The gold in one of Saddam's places could feed the poor for a LONG time

Heck, even if your knowledge of these issues is not as strong as mine, that is fine to. I studied politics and history in school, so I feel well positioned to discuss this. If you are confused or unsure how to word your response, discuss it with me. I do agree with a lot of what you are saying. I am not hear simply to argue. I want to learn. First, I don't recall the inhabitants of the Holy Land before 1947 being called Palestinians. Second, who occupied the land before those so-called hundreds of years? If you want to use antiquity as a justification for possession of the land then the Jews trump you Palestinians by several thousand years. Third, I find you Palestinians to be particularly annoying in that you feel you have the right to take other peoples land but they don't have the right to take it back from you. That I believe is called hypocrisy; something you Arabs are very good at.

Your entire position boils down to, if a gang of murderous thugs are given their own "official" state, that this will magically transform them from murderous thugs into something more civilized. I can not show you the light.. I accept that not everyone agrees about the Middle East and Israel and the Arabs and the thousands of years of history. I simply am tired by your offering that the many varied participants in the Middle East must all sit down and work this out now as if that can happen.

I don;t mean to disappoint you, but frankly, I and many others have listened and offered our views.
