You folks down in the Carolinas take care with that nasty forecast ice storm. Up here in Pennsylvania, we're only supposed to get snow, anywhere from two to seven inches. Of course, the way folks drive up here in the white stuff, that will be carnage enough for most...

I find it amusing to watch southerners get into a full blown panic when a little snow threatens to fall.
Watching them fight over the last loaf of bread, nearly expired milk, and bottled water is almost like a sport.

Time for the Annual Driver Retraining Day!

Just raining here... of course, that's usually a normal thing for this time of year...

We are cold but so far no snaow. However, A Citizen Reporter reports snow in St. Louis. I am going to check the local radar and report and see if we are supposed to get snow later this evening. Back later with the report.

It is kinda funny. We are going to get the storm tomorrow in New York - Its been 17 degrees every morning so far this week so the ground is cold enough to make any snow or ice stick. We should be getting about 6 inches which is no biggie. The problem with the Southern states is their power lines I think they are above ground but I could be wrong. Ours are underground.
To: Phantom Lord
LOL. I love it too.
I used to be that way till I lived in Boston one winter.
My wife still freaks out over it, though.

Real southerners buy whiskey & cigarettes - Steve & I have plenty of both.

Watching them fight over the last loaf of bread, nearly expired milk, and bottled water is almost like a sport Toilet paper, you forgot the fights over toilet paper. The panic-driven hoading of 30 rolls for a three day storm boggles the mind.

I'll be pissed if this messes up my tee time on Saturday morning. Time to break out the orange balls.
If the electricty goes out, to borrow a line from Chef on South Park, my wife and I will have to "make sweet love down by the fire."

Hi! The big storm missed us..it's just cold and gray. A few flurries once in a while.
To: Howlin
It is a bone chilling 75° here!! Brr-rr-rr-rr-rr!
