Absolutely.
Prohibition didn't work in the 20's, and it is also a miserable failure today. Anyone who thinks that the 21 drinking age does anything except line the pockets of local and state law enforcement agencies with underage drinking ticket revenues is a complete and total moron.
I don't care what the repercussions on the highways are, you do what is right, not what makes you feel safe.
Telling a 19 or 20 year old that if he drinks a beer he is a criminal is ludicrous, statist, and immoral.

During Prohibition...
The economy soared, ie "The Roaring Twenties"
Admissions to mental hospitals were cut by 75%.
Admissions to emergency rooms were down 50%.
Church attendance as a percent of the population hit all time record highs.
Divorces were down.
I read a whole book on the positives during prohibition.
It was nothing like the total failure you have been led to believe.

For what it's worth, my two cents is that if someone has a high school diploma they ought to be able to drink. There is enormous pressure on every college campus simply due to the two different populations due to the age "21". I accept that there will be more traffic deaths, etc., and that is unfortunate, but death is part of our existence here.
