Is Senator Mary Landrieu Anti-Cathoic, Anti-Magersterium towards the Catholic Church?

There are several articles on how the DNC has attacked the Catholic Church -- something Mary Landrieu has done nothing about.

The first article is:

KISSLING BARES HER ANTI-CATHOLIC STRIPES; SHE FURTHER SHAMES THE DNC

Click Here for Catholic League Article

Additionally, the DNC highlight two anti-Catholic groups that "pose as sheep in wolf's clothing". The first is the Frances Kissling's CFFC, the other is Call to Action-Online.

Both of these can be found under:

http://www.democrats.org/links/#religious

Or just Click Here to show these and other links

The next link highlights the attack on the Vatican directly by Frances Kissling's CFFC through the "See Change" Web link.

Basically, the "Catholics for Free Choice" has been trying for about 4 years to get the Vatican kicked out of the United Nations (not as a voting nation, but from its observer status).

This was because the Vatican was able to work with a number of countries to block the agenda of Planned Parenthood, NARAL and CFFC at the United Nations on the issue of abortion (when Clinton was president).\

The link through the Pro-Life, Pro-Family group C-FAM describes the list of this. The link is:

http://www.c-fam.org/HolySee/index.html

Under that page is a link to the opposition -- with the CFFC apparently driving the "www.seechange.org" web site, and listed a number of times in the web link Austin Ruse and "www.c-fam.org" under the link:

This is under the link "Voices of Intolerance" or http://www.c-fam.org/HolySee/voicesofintolerance.html

To go to the web site "Voices of Intolerance", Click Here for "Voices of Intolerance" web page

Where has the voice of Senator Mary Landrieu when the Catholic Church is attacked by her Party?

Why is Senator Mary Landrieu silent on this issue? If she claims to be a Catholic she should be vocal about denying these links and fighting with the DNC to remove these harmful and harmful organizations to the Catholic Church

Basiclly, the body of the article shows various groups supported by the DNC that Mary Landrieu is silent about that are "harmful" and in "opposition" to the Catholic Church.

Though somewhat emotional, I have tried to make a case that as long Mary Landrieu is silent on these links on the DNC, she is opposing the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and is supporting anti-Catholic groups by her silence.

The people in Nazi Germany were silent about the Jews being sent to Concentration Camps. Many condemned these people, and rightly so.

They should have fought back or helped the Jews escape.

Silence was a sign of their guilt.

So, apparently, it is with Mary Landrieu.

What is Anti-Magisterium?

According to Websters Dictionary online:

magisterium : teaching authority especially of the Roman Catholic Church

CTA-USA Online (Call to Action -- US) is a good example of a group that is "anti-magisterium". This is also a supposedly "Catholic" group as is CFFC.

Think of the word "magistrate", meaning "judge", and then relate it to the "judgements of the Catholic Church".

Hope that helps.

As ordinarily used, a person opposed to the "magisterium" of the Catholic Church is someone who feels free to differ with it, does not feel he or she is sinning by taking a position against it publicly, or living in a way it forbids or calls sinful. Denies the Church's right to define sin, or to be an [the?] authority in faith, morals, and practice...

Surely Ms Landrieu would not claim to be a practicing Catholic, surely she would admit she has lapsed, but has just not taken up any OTHER organized religion as yet???

Its the same here in Michigan with our new gov Jennifer Granholm who tries to claim she is a practicing Catholic (a Eucharistic Minister no less), but still votes and supports pro-death legislation.

Jennifer Granholm has been elected. We can have some fun with Mary Landrieu in the heavily Catholic state of Louisiana (it doesn't have "counties" but "parishes" because of the Catholic influence).

I would not mind this becoming an issue with TV stations, radio stations, and newspapers BEFORE election day...

" I didn't leave the Democratic Party -- it left ME!!"

when it promoted and protected the slaughter of 45,000,000 created and growing helpless American boys and girls.

Talk about a literal form of a "Liberal Death Wish."

A "eucharistic minister" is a concoction of the Novus Ordo church and runs contradictory to the Church's teachings.

The abuse of this 'concoction' as you call is pretty bad. I would argue that there is no reason for her or any other lay person in her parish (about 20 miles from my home) to be a Eucharistic Minister, this is a wealthy parish with enough priests. The church is awful. It is one of those modern hotel lobby like buildings with plenty of bare walls and liturgy.

I miss New Orleans. My husband is a native and I lived there for 18 years before we moved up here to Michigan. I'll be watching what happens down there.
