I was thinking about Elian when I read about the 13 yr old boy from Cuba who's being held in FL. His father made it off the boat, but the boy did not before the Coasties caught up with them, so his status is murky right now. Apparently the 13 yr old's mother was left behind in Cuba and he came here with his father. It will be interesting to see how this one is handled. Will they say that the 13 yr old has the right to make the decision to stay for himself?
