Does anyone know if the new poll showing Landrieu with a large lead has demoralized the GOP get-out-the-vote effort for Dec. 7?

"The more national people they bring in, more people are asking what is going on?" Landrieu said.
We intend to retire you, you sorry excuse for a senator.

I don't know but my gut feeling is that nothing can
de-energize conservative voters in this state.
We hope to be first in line for tickets to this rally.
Whoooo Hoooooooo!!!! W's coming to town! I'm energized!

No, primarily because another poll came out the same day showing Terrell with a four point lead and the internals of the poll with the Landrieu lead were somewhat suspect.
Let's put it this way, Terrell is slightly ahead and the Big Dog is coming to town.
Bush Bounce time!
Be Seeing You,

Risky for me to draw parallels between SW Missouri and Louisiana. However, GWB visited here several times (on behalf of Jim Talent, etal).Energized Republicans. As a result SW Missouri turned in 5K more votes for Jim Talent than St.L did for Ma Carnahan. Jasper County went overwhelmingly so for Talent-Republicans. Many first time Republican candidates blew their seasoned Democrat opposition out of the water! I loved every minute!
Somewhere I read where Jasper County appeared to turn in the highest percent of Republican votes. I'll see if I can find it.
Anyway, GWB needs to rock the vote in Louisiana the way he did up here!

This race is close - bogus polls be damned! The President, VP and a former president would not be going down there to help a candidate trailing by 15-16 points.
