John just said a station employee's wife just called in from the Issaquah Costco asking if her husband wanted an autographed Algore book. She said The tree and Tipper are sitting there and there are only a couple people there to buy books. Bwahahahahah. I thought this was a "best seller." They have another signing tonight at Elliott Bay Books in Seattle. That should draw a little better among Seattle's Lefties.

But why are English and music majors leftists? I was a classics major. Why should that be any different?

I have been a fan of Cigar Aficianado since its 1st issue. I always bought it at the same store. I went in to the store to get the issue with Rush on the cover. I searched and searched and couldnt find it. No big deal, probably sold out, as could be expected.
So I go up to the counter and ask if they have the new Cigar Aficianado. The guy behind the counter asks me, "The one with Limbaugh on the cover?" with a very sour attitude. I said yes. He told me to wait a minute and went into THE BACK ROOM! He came out with a copy and put it on the counter and said "we don't sell many copies of this magazine" as he rang me up. I told him I buy it here every 3 months when it comes out and it is always on the rack. Why is this issue in the back room? He didnt have an answer.

I was a classics major That's completely different. Pre-decadent lit, right? The Aeneid, Dante, Chaucer, good old-fashioned ethics. Not like this new stuff that twists the political psyche into Orwellian pretzels.

I think rush said it was 847 on the list or something close to that at the booksellers

...I was going to buy Hanites book and see if he would sign it. Bummer An Ann Coulter book in addition would have been another nice dagger in his lowley, vast left wing extremist heart.

Did they blame Rush?

Maybe he should offer to autograph copies of "Love Story" or "The Internet for Dummies". Maybe he could just order a pizza and work on a new beard for a few hours.

Dog: Hey, lady, what's up with this tree? I was just about to relieve myself when it moved!

The only way gore is going to get a crowd around him at Costco is to give out Wing-Ding samples.

If I were to ever see Algore signing books, I'd definitely want him to autograph
THIS book.

As a lover of book stores, I must admit I thoroughly
enjoy prowling the shelves of Elliot Bay whenever
I'm in Seattle. I'm glad to hear it's still alive, even
tho it is on the "Dark Side".

Tipper is delusional....she is not to be pitied...her time for being straingt with the public has come and gone.

Was it under a table in the children's section? Not in childrens section--but at the back of the store -- we did find Slander (Ann Coulter) in the childrens section (turned backwards)

I agree; I never had anything against Tipper. Acquiescing to that humiliating, embarrassing, slobbery, ill-advised, desperation motivated, clintonesque TV smooch was waaaaaaaaaaayy beyond the call of duty. She should have said, "No." The distastefulness was ameliorated somewhat by the immense loyalty that no doubt drove her to it. So the bottom line is that it was to Tipper's credit and to Al's discredit. That he would do such a thing for political purposes said it all for me.

But why are English and music majors leftists? I was a classics major. Why should that be any different? You can read.
