Tommy Daschle, soon to me minority leader, cannot stand losing. And he can't stand taking any blame. The blame, of course, rests with talk radio.
Tommy is making bizarre claims that the shrill content of talk radio has led to threats against his family. The truth is that talk radio is the only thing the left cannot control. They have the major TV networks, the universities, the public schools, and the major newspapers. Talk radio is the only medium we have to expose their lies. They can't handle that.
Listening to talk radio today was quite entertaining. On the Sean Hannity show, a shrill, loud mouth caller kept calling Sean a "bastard." He wouldn't stop. Sean gave him plenty of time to hang himself.
On Larry Elder, a clown named Daniel made a total fool of himself with his vicious attacks. These lefties sure have a great deal of pent up anger. This is the guy from Burbank who always ends a call with Al Rantel by calling him a fascist.
May talk radio continue to be a force. Maybe it can help straighten out America.

One thing that socialists hate is the concept of the market deciding success. It kills them to know that a liberal can't get off of the ground with a talk radio show, while at the same time there are a plethora of highly-rated conservative shows (and, on AM stations of all places!).

I heard the man on Larry Elder this afternoon. He was consumed with rage, almost incoherent. It was VERY difficult to listen to that segment...Couldn't even properly gloat.

This may be playing into their hands, but if someone pummels a pissy, bitchy, whiny liberal like the one on today's Sean Hannity show, I wouldn't complain. I know I wanted to beat the tar out of him!

The funny thing is that in spite of "Liberals'" control of
the major TV networks, the universities, the public schools, and the major newspapers and the subversion of all of these into propaganda organs, the public gets its information from talk radio and the internet and, on November 5, 2002, voted accordingly.
You know that rankles.

"help straighten out America"
Yeah, you got that right - and I think that's what the liberals are most afraid of.

This is nothing more than the old Marxist strategy of the "big lie" The Socialist Democrats have been using this tactic ever since the elections. For instance, they are now saying that the media as a whole is slanted towards conservatives. This is laughable but a lie. The Democratic party has been taken over by the lunatics who have not grown up since the sixties.Personally I do not think the country will be safe until this generation dies off.

We coservatives have used talk radio and the internet to counter the left's control of American education and media, reminding me of a line in Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.
"To save yourself by means of what has ruined you, that is the masterpiece of great men." -- Context ... the young man Gavoche was caught pushing a cart to add to the barricade, and -- when talking his way out of trouble failed, he turned the cart into a projectile to save his life.

It's like Brezhnev couldn't stand Radio Free Europe for the same reasons. Only shows like Rush and dissident papers like Drudge, NewsMax, and Alamance Independent and the newsgroups and mailing lists are Radio Free Amerika.

Talk radio may help, but I'd put my money on a spine growing organization that might call itself "Growing Balls Across America"...

To the left we are as one; a vast right wing conspiracy of whack-jobs, revelling in a fusillade of insensitive remarks and halarious put-downs. We own the AM. They own diversity. We own what's right. They own the universities. We own the truth and they own excuses. But it is the right that continues to espouse the solutions. "Words mean things" Rush H. Limbaugh III

Funny, he didn't seem to mind Rush Limbaugh when Jeffords was making him King-by-Proxy. What a sniffling little whiner!
And HE'S their LEADER? Think how pathetic the guy at the end of the line must be if this is the best they can put in the front?

Tom Turkey is distressed about the "new media" (talk radio and the internet) because it is no longer so easy for Democrats to lie, and demagogue, and lie, and frighten the elderly, and lie some more. Daschle longs for the good old days when all the political news was disseminated exclusively by scumbag liberals like Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, (Canadian socialist) Peter Jennings, and the rest of that ilk who happily delivered the liberal spin every night at 6 o'clock to America's captive, dinner-time audiences.
With the continuing growth of talk radio and the internet, the Democrat push for big government and the destruction of the traditional American family has run into a formidable roadblock, and it will only continue to get worse for them, as long as the Republicans stay cool and don't blow it.

what about Alec Baldwin's attack against Henry Hyde?
To: Steven W.
excuse me. That's THE HONORABLE Henry Hyde.

Watching Hanitty and Colmes and just heard Colmes say he has had a talk radio show and would like to have one again.
I had noticed a particular meanness about his words on Fox for the past few weeks and thought that he was getting resentful of Sean's radio show success. Now I realize it is even worse than that. He was Cancelled! Continuing in the tradition of other liberal talk show wannabees!

It seems to be a pattern to this whining...It was alGore a couple of days ago ranting about the FReepers picketing the VP Mansion and now Tommy the Toy Poodle yapping about RUSH.
To: Vidalia
Rush should name his show part of the Radio Free America network !

It's funny watching the liberals whine because they cannot control freedom of speech for conservatives on radio like they have done in the lamestream media and press for so long.
