Daschle Blames Right Wing Radio & Media
FOX news

Posted on 11/20/2002 11:04:56 AM PST by Maigret

I just heard on FOX News, comments by Sen. Daschle who in addition to complaining about the lousey Homeland Security Bill, said that over his years in the Senate he has become concerned about the influence of right wing media, especially talk programs and he named Limbaugh.

Fox's political reporter said that in Daschle's comments today, he likened them to the Taliban and the Mullah's who teach hate.

Why is it always only the right wing talk shows that are so criticized? Phil Donahue and his ilk preach hatred, not Limbaugh. Please may this too fall his little head.

Limbaugh's audience is sufficiently large that it is not possible to demonize him, except to the hard-core Democratic base who have never listened to Limbaugh anyway. So here is Daschle once again preaching to his choir, while simutanously alienating the 30 or so million voters who are at least somewhat familiar with Limbaugh and who know that this kind of demonization is nonsense.

The Democrats seem to have bought into the idea that they need to throw some red meat to their base. But they seem oblivious to what they sound like to everyone else. To tell 30 million voters that they are hatemongers insults them and angers them. They know better, and they're going to remember what this guy said come election day. For every liberal yahoo who cheers when he hears Daschle getting "tough" on those evil Republicans, there's one evil Republican and one mystified independent wondering when it became popular for elected officials to insult the voters.

Poor little Tommy Dasshole. He will forever look
for someone to blame for the disaster of 2002.

Maybe he should look a little closer to home!

Ah, poor little world communist elitist.

Regardless of what anyone on radio, in print or any electronic medium says...communism is to be hated - and those doing its bidding beware - we are watching you - and we are taking notes...

Rush should submit a Freedom of Information request to find out exactly HOW MANY threats Daschle received.

Well, the truth hurts the democrats? Hm.....and their solution?

Isn't ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC/the newspapers/magazines/Hollywood enough to push socialism for them?
