G'day,
FReepers Countrydummy and New River Sister are in a huge land grab fight. Most of you already know this. However, the PTB in the form of Rep. Rahall (D-Iraq) and Sen. Byrd (D-KKK) need persuading.
The American Policy Center has mounted a petition drive to help Countrydummy and NewRiverSister out.
Please go to www.newriverfriends.org and sign the petition.
I have also been told that there is a new video hosted by the site (have not seen it.)
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; Announcements; Constitution/Conservatism; Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; Front Page News
KEYWORDS: npsgreedy; stoplandgrab
Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

'pod, if I may horn in with a question and an idea? The petition is the sort you download & sign, correct?
An on-line petition will almost certainly draw more signatures... I am not familiar with how you do this, but Jeff Head, David Osborne, and others here have done this- might be worth a query.

The petitions to be signed came out in the American Policy Center DeWeese report this summer. While Tom DeWeese has "on-line" petitions on a regular basis at www.americanpolicy.org , ours was not "on-line" but hard-copies in one of his editions.
The email address of Rep Nick Rahall is NRAHALL@mail.house.gov; and Senator Robert C. Byrd is senator_byrd@byrd.senate.gov might be a way for more to help us? What do you think? Or, WV Governor Bob Wise? Governor@wvgov.org

You should probably set up a petition at petitions-online.com (org?)
Ask Jeff Head or a few others here on how to do it.
