I couldn't believe what I just heard on Hannity and Colmes!
Democrat Ohio Congresswoman just told Sean Hannity that she believed that Bush wants war in Iraq to "pump up his corporate interest" and that the Bush family " would love to have their war to enhance their oil profits".
This stuns me. We are witnessing the desentigration of the Democrat party.
Crazy!

If the United States had entered the war in 1915,as TR wanted, we would have helped tip the balance of power at that time and perhaps saved Europe from the terrible blood letting of 1916-1917 and the collapse of the Russian Empire.

Remember the Buddists Monks and what they did with gasoline during the Vietnam Era?
Well the democrats are doing it now, only its a slower burn.
Where will they go, what will they do?

I'm glad the D's hold no power in my fine state of Ohio. No reason to; they have Rhinos running the place who act like Democrats.

No reason to; they have Rhinos running the place who act like Democrats. Well in Ohio the R's are Rinoish (mostly)
The D's are full-blown Marxists, no wonder they hold no statewide offices.

I'm sure that this talking point has polled well (as has "Bush was never elected"). Truth means nothing to these politicians. They call Republicans Nazis on the Congressional floor.

...she believed that Bush wants war in Iraq to "pump up his corporate interest" and that the Bush family " would love to have their war to enhance their oil profits"...this is gibberish - most experts I've heard expect the price of oil to drop to under twenty dollars a barrel once it becomes clear that we've won the war - got a great way to "enhance...profits"......

I have lots of ancestors from Ohio. It must be a fine state. Michigan is an old Indian name, you know.
It means: "Hmp! Look like Ohio."

I thought I'd find a Michigan flag on your profile, but Noooooo! HELP! I'm sorry! I actually never figured out how to "do" the profile page. Here's my profile: 1965-1985 Michigan. 1985-1989 Navy, Norfolk VA. 1990-1997 Civilian, Norfolk, VA.
1997-now, Illinois. (But a Michigander at heart.)

Therefore, they should continue sanctions and the status quo to enhance their profits.Marcy Kaptur and her liberal partners in stupidity don't understand basic economics. They may be thinking the the price of oil will rise during wartime, but they're not thinking what comes later. If there is peace in the Middle East eventually, the price of oil will go DOWN because there won't be sproadic shortages because of instability. And eventually, we'll be getting oil from more places than the Middle East, so the vaunted 'Bush family oil profits' will diminish as well.
These people are just twits of the highest order. They don't understand economics and continue to spout their nonsense. Unfortunately, most in this country don't have that great a grasp on economics so it is hard for the average person NOT to understand that the Democrats are lying to them. They haven't learned the basic lesson about how to tell when Democrats are lying; when their lips are moving!

Buchanan asked her to be his vice-president in 2000; she turned him down. Can you provide a source to that little tidbit of info that I never heard before?

Interesting point.

They are hoping for a big terrorist attack, which they can blame on Bush. I really can't believe these people.
If only they could figure out that they lost big not because they went too far to the center or too far to the left, but because they are mean-spirited, nasty, ruthless people who will do anything to win, and people are just fed up with it.
On the other hand, maybe it's better if they don't figure that out.
