a) naive

b) mis-informed

c) trying to maintain as positive a position with our Islamic "allies" (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc.) as possible

d) trying to avoid implementation of the "oil weapon",

e) all of the above.

We have carried political correctness here to an absurd level. Islam is as legitimate as the Thugee Cult of ancient India.

If our president, our media, and our population is not going to wake up and realize that the problem is not Moslems, it is Islam! At least the way it is preached of late. The fanatic mullahs and stupid clerics, in an effort to strengthen their positions, decided to add emphasis to the violent part of the Koran, and reduce emphasis on any tolerant or accommodating verses of the Koran.
