"This guy isn't anything more than a Jihad Entrepeneur that's out to make a quick buck.

Yep. We're not gonna pay price though.

"Just to clarify: I'm not rushing to his defense either, but he's just a schmuck that saw dollar signs when he heard 'training camp' "

That's a no-no nowadays. Bozos get busted for this crap. Preferably into pieces...but he looks the type to sing like a bird and whine like a propeller if thrown in federal prison...he might be a good milker.

Humphries paused for a long moment, and said: "At this point, I don't think that would occur ... that he would pose any threat."

Obviously one of Clinton's moron hirelings. I hope they reassign that 'agent' to someplace where he can't do any more damage to national security, like maybe protective services for Clinton or Gore.

"And after considerable thought, some soul searching, it is his opinion of Mr. Ujaama that he is not a threat to the community," said Offenbecher, Ujaama's lawyer.

You mean, Islamic terrorists aren't a threat to the community?

This is what would happen if a dozen armed bomb-laden kefiyah-wearing arab muslim terrorists in full battle dress and carrying the hezbolah flag charged the federal courthouse Monday morning at 0900 screaming "ALLAH AKBAR!"

1. The Times and PI editorial boards would praise it as a spontaneous diversity parade.
2. The federal marshalls and fbi would consult their ADL- provided 'diversity guideline handbooks', not wanting to offend.
3. KOMO, KIRO, and KING would scramble their SAT trucks to get the "activists" point of view. "What did the U.S. do to you to make you so mad?"
4. Ceasefire would start a fundraiser and demand to know which WAC show sold them the ARs.
5. Ron Sims and Larry Gossett would issue press releases stating they knew the gentlemen, but that they were really 'community activists', positive role models, and were targets of racially motivated hate mongering - probably due to some Christian extremists on the other side of the lake.
6. Goldberg's ADL would continue to remain silent, wondering how they could spin this into a CdA-Hayden Lake-Sandpoint-Noxon angle, ever thankful for the recent tour of the SEA fbi's new Seattle digs.
7. The JTTF/HRT/ATF's pagers wouldn't go off because that might distract them from finding some white guy with the wrong accessory combo on his new rifle.
8. Jeff Siddqui would issue another ludicrous statement from his fictional group denying a muslim connection.

SEATTLE WILL NEVER BE FREE OF MUSLIM TERRORIST SCUM as long as the current socialist, terror-supporting 'leaders' are in power.

...London's Finsbury Park mosque.

This place is a tumor on Britain's nose.

But Ujaama's lawyers yesterday said he traveled into the troubled country to drop off laptops at an Afghan girls school.

Uh, huh. Reminds me of that scene in Stripes. How does it go exactly? The troops, I think, have been arrested for busting up a strip club, and/or various other acts of mayhem, destruction and debauchery. Having been returned to the base in disgrace, and an explanation demanded, John Candy pipes up, "well, we were on our way to this Church bingo game..."

Ujaama to remain in custody until trial

It appears the videotapes had a lot to do with the decision:

... In her ruling, Rothstein noted Ujaama's alleged connections to Abu Hamza. She also emphasized newly revealed videotapes showing Ujaama and Abu Hamza sitting side by side at a forum held at his London mosque.

"Defendant Ujaama has pledged 'bayaat' (an oath of allegiance) to Abu Hamza," Rothstein wrote, "and is seen in a videotape seated next to Abu Hamza talking about how various terrorist leaders have been framed while Abu Hamza discussed jihad and the proper firing techniques for a rocket-propelled grenade."

Greenberg applauded the decision. "Obviously that was the decision we were advocating," he said.

Isn't that term 'bayaat' also used for the oath of loyalty al Qaeda members take to bin Laden?
