Don't we have a special island for these folk, where all progressives, liberals, UnAmericans, NOW's, Clintonistas, Hitlarys, Tom Brokaw, ABC, NBC, CBS, ACLUer's, illegal immigrants, can go and enter their own pearly gates? Let's see, that's about 35% of our population, I believe.

That's all I want for Christmas.

Oh, we can't even send them to Hawaii. They have a new Republican governor, but there must be a nice large island. How about we ship them ALL to Mexico as part of NAFTA????

so "despondent over Tuesday's election returns" (according to the Anchorage Daily News) that he climbed to the top of a 230,000-volt utility tower and allowed the dangerous current to course through his body –

And they call Republicans extremist.

in the process interrupting electrical service to more than 30,000 homes and businesses. Suffering serious burns over most of his upper body, the unhappy idealist has been hospitalized in critical condition.

Collateral damage, or unintended consequences?

Suffering serious burns over most of his upper body, the unhappy idealist has been hospitalized in critical condition.

One more failed Democrat idea gone awry.

In a sense, with liberal activists feeling hurt and rejected by this corrupt and fallen world, "The West Wing" offers the chance to escape to a soothing, reassuring alternate reality. One can imagine the wounded spirits, sitting in locked and darkened rooms with the shades drawn, trying to shut out all jarring messages from GOP-dominated America, allowing only the eerie blue glow from their TV screens, immersing themselves in a brighter, better fantasy world in which progressive good guys like President Bartlett always win landslides.

I wonder how many have recorded this episode so they can watch it over and over and over?

You know how rotten and unfeeling America is? Every parking lot and public building has wheelchair-accessible parking and ramp access. Women and minorities get more respect and real job opportunity in America than in any other society on earth. At the moment, women and minorities are still preferred over white males in the hiring done throughout this country. Illegal aliens get free health care, education and food stamps.

These liberals should be encouraged to jump off bridges if they think America is a hopeless, mean place. The downtrodden are treated like royalty while hard-working achievers are treated like dog turds.

Gore Vidal sniffed: "The same people own the media that own the White House that own the Congress that own the oil fields

These "progressivist" morons have the same rant about it being "all about the oil fields." Just for fun, I suggest we respond with a counter-rant:

"No dude, y'know it's like all about the reefer fields, like in Mendocino County 'nd like other National Parks. Y'know, like the Democrats, Pelosi, Feinstein and Boxer, dude...(nod head up and down real emphatically)..they're doing it all for like harvest season, man...y'know...that's why they're against Homeland Security, man - cuz like the Feds might find all the fields...'nd like wipe'em out."

The poor things. At least we should offer them euthanasia--but, no, the Republican victory even rules out that. (Is it still available in Amsterdam?)

Ratings for the NBC ("Nothing But Communism") show "The Left Wing" have to be seriously low. Maybe Little Katie Communist on the NBC Today Show could interview Madman Sheen to establish a new legislative agenda for the RATS.

I think the old way of dousing yourself with gasoline and striking a match would be much preferable. At least that way, you have time to be photographed and the photo could be used in Dems next campaign posters.

"Kim Gandy, president of the National Organization for Women, sounded even more pessimistic in a mourning-after statement.

"Mourning-after?" Intentional humor or Freudian slip?
