Public school districts and state education officials are failing to monitor the academic success and financial health of California's charter schools, state Auditor Elaine Howle said in a report released Thursday.
The inch-thick report on the taxpayer-funded alternative schools also found that some public school districts may be collecting fees from charter schools they sponsor without using the money to hire and train staff members to conduct oversight.

You may recall I responded to a Fresno Bee reporter after the "Balladulah / Charter School" was brought to our attention by Clovis Skeptic. This reporter wrote a article that was an outrageous PC oriented story that totally soft peddled the dangers of Muslims, how peaceful they are -- la da da da da! I attempted to take her to task and got absolutely no where. I was ( and still am ) deeply concerned about the dangers of PC. After a long period of time, several documented terrorist activities ( and quite a few undisclosed terrorist activities), we as a nation are not anywhere close to properly addressing the dangers of PC.
Since I feel so strongly about how dangerous the PC attitude is, by our media, govt, liberals --- etc, I am going to repost the letter I wrote to the Fresno Bee, local talk show hosts, some national news (er uh rather opinion spinners) broadcasters.
Hopefully, it will remind us of how important it is to stay alert. ( I apologize for the length of it but feel it is necessary).
Here is the letter that got absolutely no response.
Dear Mr./Mrs. Politically Correct,
I am a fairly regular listener to the news and talk shows. I have been hearing a very disturbing situation being “sold” to the public. The media, government officials, and talk show hosts included, have been telling us to accept the Muslims and the Islamic faith, that this religion is loving and peaceful. Although I do agree, not all the Islamic faith believers will totally abide by their religious teachings, ONE CANNOT IGNORE what the Holy Koran contains in its scriptural writings.
The Holy Koran contains explicit instructions, clearly spelled out for the behavior of the followers of the Islamic faith. It is pretty frightening to say the least. In particular, when you consider that an estimated one and one half billion people practice this faith world wide and with this nation having a large and growing representation of this faith, it is justifiably a major concern. I think the Islamic Holy Koran is well worth reading to properly understand why those of us that are aware of these teachings are in fear of the Muslim people. It is well justified and compounded by what we have just learned from the recent attacks on the east coast.
The fear is componded by learning of the long term planning that has been in place by the terrorists. Their disclosed assimilation manual giving instructions on how to work into our way of life without drawing attention to themselves, how to become one of us and avoid any suspicion has enabled them to become well entrenched and stratigically placed for their next activity. This plan has been in place for a number of years.
So now, the problem is, a terrorist could be your neighbor, in the seat next to you, living next door, friendly and even helpful at times. SO HOW DO YOU TELL JUST WHOM THE TERRORIST IS? They are here in this country, waiting for the window of opportunity to open so they can fulfill the goal specified by their leader and their religious teaching. Yet,the media , the government and the Pathetically Crazy are telling us to be politically correct.
Well - being politically correct will just probably wind up killing a bunch of innocent people. I do not have the answer and the Politically Correct advocate doesn’t either. But I do know that if we follow their instructions not to consider a Muslim as a possible threat we could wind up allowing another WTC or worse. We must continually be aware and keep every possible terrorist under suspicion whether it is politically correct or not. Ilegals should be deported immediately with reapplication considered after a background check is fully completed. If we offend these people, OH WELL, better to offend than having another life wasting attack. I would also add - they (Muslims) need to have an understanding about our attitude and concern for this nation. In my opinion, anyone not willing to comply is aiding the terrorists effort. OUR NATION IS AT STAKE, OUR CITIZENS INCLUDED!
And now it appears that we have a training ground for these Johnny Jihads right here in our back yard and cannot get an investigation going - at least not that we are aware of.I am at a loss to counter the media and the soft peddling being done for the Islamic religion. "Help, I am falling and I can't get up."

I would take that comment with a grain of salt.
I bet we will eventually hear more of the Al-Fuqra compound, aka. Baladullah (where the Gateway Charter School was) in the near future. As the Beltway sniper case investigation continues, I would imagine that the Al-Fuqra compound at Red House, VA will be implicated. And since this is reportedly where a number of the now deserted Baladullah compound residents have migrated, the trail will lead back to Baladullah, where as once posted/suggested by Travis Mcgee I believe, the FBI should/will gather all the shell casings from their target practice area. Sabertooth, has really been on the trail of the Beltway sniper case, and all the ties to Al-Fuqra.
There are so many threads to this story it is difficult to address all the connections. But many may have forgotten that the woman in charge of Gateway Charter Schools, Khadijah Ghafur, is also listed as a corporate officer for "Muslims of the Americas", which is the org headed by Sheik Gilani. The same Sheik Gilani that WSJ reporter Daniel Pearl was on his way to interview, and of course Daniel Pearl was murdered. Pearl's angle was the connection between the Sheik, and the shoe bomber.
The Bee, will never remind their readers of all these facts in stories about charter schools. They wont even reveal terrorist connection facts in stories on the war on terrorism. Thank God, and Jim Robinson for FREE REPUBLIC!!!

I really believe that these al Fuqra thugs would still be operating and training how to kill innocent Americans in the now closed encampment. They would still be getting millions of our tax $'s as a phoney Charter School. If it wasn't for your original post 1 year ago on Free Republic.

So this is how the media are going to play the game - like Winston Smith in the Ministry of Truth (from George Orwell's 1984) and deliberately excise out all inconvenient facts. The media are simply going to pretend that Islamist complicity in all these crimes, embezzlements, and atrocities "doesn't exist; it had never existed."
As Adolf Hitler proved, the biggest lie is the most blatant.
Before you know it, for any Islamist/jihadi news at all, the only press left to read will be the Indian and Russian ones, because so far they're the only ones not playing this game.
