Sounds like a trick that flea condo face terrorists might pull.

I'd say as long as you don't shop in fast-food joints for personal-care products, you'll be ok. The flip side of the coin is not to eat any hamburgers you might find on the counters at the small-appliance section of Sears.

Feckless, I saw a better one than using 400hz at 120v. On an Ohio river towboat they had regular household style outlets, but they were fed with 120V DC. A tech plugged in a Weller soldering gun (the ones with the little light on front and bakelite housing).
When he pulled the trigger it went off like a grenade. The copper coil in the top of the gun melted and little copper beads were rolling all over the place. He was left holding just the pistol grip with a VERY surprised look on his face.

In the first incident, on March 27, Hosea Crumpler of Troy found what appeared to be a new razor in a black case in a McDonald's restroom, police said. He took the razor home (ewww), when he should have either 1) left it alone, or 2) brought it to the manager as a lost and found item. Would he have brought a lost wallet home too? The other victim purchased his at a Price Chopper store. Bad juju.

I am not familiar with those razors, but I too am happy to not own any of their stock, or product either.

I used to give 24VDC generators to my least favorite platoons (complete with 24V lights) and always was sure to tell them "this generator won't handle your coffee pot".
Sure enough, they'd almost always try it despite the warning. Some people can't be told anything, you gotta prove it to them.

Thanks Guys..I don't know what kind of electric razor he has now..but I will write those down on my list and have him check them out.
I pray this was just a fluke... and that booby traps etc., are not going to become a common thing. ::shudder::
