Explosive electric razors under investigation

Federal and local investigators urged shoppers to be careful when buying electric razors, and to call authorities if they see a razor left in a public place.

To me, an electric razor is like a toothbrush: No way, no how am I gonna use one that I picked up at a McDonald's restroom.

Make sure they're not plugging them into the 120V utility outlet on a 400Hz generator..... I had a 1SG with 20+ years in Nike/HAWK do that and then tried to tell me my generator was screwed up. "DOH!" 400Hz is 400Hz and most razors aren't wired for it.

Buy him a Gillette Mach 3 and a five-pack of blades. The price should just about be equal to a new Norelco. Sure... the three-blade razors don't nick your face as often, but they tear the stuffing out of your wallet.

Some of the most harmless items in the world are capable of being "converted". One was the little toy dog that radio shack had out one year that had a very good proximity circuit as do some of the coke machines and advertisment posters in Airports ect ect that will speak to ya as you walk by em..............Pssssst hey you KABOOM !
