My DH, my 18 year old son (a first time voter) and I just voted in College Station, TX. We all voted straight GOP tickets. Turn-out looked pretty high in our small conservative precinct.

Great news.

Voted with the wife at about 10 AM out here in Washington State.
Only a couple old folks in the booths when I voted, but the folks manning the booths said there had been fairly heavy turnout earlier in the morning.
Unfortunately, my local Congresscritter (Baird, Democrat) is a shoo in for reelection. Oh well.
The big issue in this state is a big proposed tax increase to pay for transportation projects. I predict it fails.

,,, and Adam Taff in the House Saw Taff last week with Talent and Rudy. Saw an ad of his last night where he had a guitar like Dennis Moore. It was over before I could get the sound turned up. I thought using the guitar was pretty funny.
For the first time ever I had to wait for a machine to be open when I went to vote about 10 this morning. My town is small and my precinct has a total of 4 (yes 4) voting machines. Worker said the turnout so far had been good and about 20 people were waiting when they opened.

"so I drove 3 hours from Austin to Dallas last night, and then drove back here after voting in order to get to class. It was worth it." Thank You!

Howdy to another LI Republician. Are we a dying breed? Hi, where on LI are you? The Repuublican machine is alive and well here in Massapequa.
Dying breed never! Those who have strayed, have wised up. A friend of mine, a lifelong dem has been born again thanks to Free Republic, the Clinton's and their motley crew of thugs...lol.

LOL, Olivia!! How fun to have another GD'er who is into politics (on the Right side) like we are! I am optimistic too; if only we could get that Senate back... Great to see you here -- I mostly lurk, too, so it was quite a chance that you found me.

Somehow I missed out on the Ollie write-in (didn't vote for a Senator).
Gosh I wish the Repubs woud run someone against that perverted idiot Bobby Scott!
No on bonds and changing appeals.
Hardly anyone there voting, can't blam them.

"Since it's Denver and all dems there.....there was no one else at the polling place!!!" My experience too. I voted "no" on darn near everything except ending bilingual education.
