When you registered to vote, you may have designated yourself as a Republican. That's how they know. True, however, I had not gotten that far yet. He was at the table with all of the pamphlets.

I just got back from voting ( GO JEB!! ) in JAX,FL, it took me about 5 min. from the time I parked my car to the time I pulled out o f the parking lot.
Checking in from rainy Louisville, Kentucky. Voted for every Republican and/or Libertarian on the ballot (go Northup & McConnell!).

I thought they outlawed "architecture" in Los Angeles County? I can count the good-looking buildings around here on one hand, and they're all pretty old.

Voted this morning (central Illinois) for John Shimkus, Durkin (Oh Lord how I wish he could pull the upset of the year), and even for the RINO Jim Ryan for Governor (that was the one I didn't know what I was going to do until I was in the booth; my heart said Cal Skinner (Libertarian) but my head said Ryan.

"She wasn't paying attention to the election until I mentioned the word TAXES to her. That changed everything."You know, if we could change the withholding laws so that everyone had to write a check to the IRS every quarter like the self-employed, we'd have a tax revolt in a nanosecond!

We give people grief who don't do this, and tell them to keep their mouths shut the rest of the year, as,since they didn't vote, what right do they have to complain,Right? You got that right. I already a couple of coworkers who weren't planning on voting to shut their traps when it comes ANYTHING political. If you don't vote don't b*itch.

Just personally walked my absentee ballot to the local polling place and dropped it into the box. My girlfriend voted at the polling place right down the line as I directed her (she's registered American Independent but doesn't pay attention to politics and so deferred to me). That's two for Simon, Rohrabacher, et. al., down the line Pubbies. Took the day off today so now I'm off to the local Party office at 901 Dove St., Newport Beach, to volunteer in whatever capacity needed. Trust everyone else who can will do the same.
Several of my dem friends (choke) and co-workers are not voting for governor this time around which is encouraging although they couldn't be persuaded to vote Simon whom they also dislike. My parents and all my bro's and sisters old enough have already voted down the line Republican.
God save our Republic! Let's all give him a hand today!

I voted a straight Republican ticket in Nebraska.
I also campaigned for MIKE FRIEND(R) for Nebraska State Legislature!!! GO MIKE!!!!

I wasn't allowed to help my mom on primary day either. I'm not a city attorney, just her daughter. That's why I take a sample ballot along and hand it off to mom. There's no law against sharing a sample ballot apparently.

Hey MUD,
I got 47 votes from the folks here at work. Another 15 or so said they'd do the same after work. How do you think Ollie's doing?

This is the time to vote philosophy over personality. Yup, and Welcome to Free Republic!
See, that wasn't so bad.

Just got back from voting. It's cool and drizzly here and only three other people were in the voting place.
A friend of mine is running for congress as a Democrat (John Milkovich). He is a conservative, pro-life Christian and a deacon in my church. He is as honorable and decent a man as I have ever known. I love the guy, but a vote for him is a vote for Gephardt. I actually pulled the lever for his opponent, Jim McCrery. I feel a little guilty about it, but I would vote against my mother to keep the evil Daschle/Gephardt cabal out of power.

I plan to...unfortunately hubby's working from home today (bone spurs - can't walk) so the phone's tied up with teleconference calls. And our cell phones don't work out here.....one of the few disadvantages of our rural location.
I've got a list of folks to call, though, when hubby comes up for air.

You got that right. I already a couple of coworkers who weren't planning on voting to shut their traps when it comes ANYTHING political. I do that, too. I tell them if they don't vote Republican, they get what they didn't ask for!!!

Got my Jim Talent vote in nice and early.
No lines at all (Platte Co., Missouri).
It will take more than some drizzle and cold to stop this Broken Glass Republican.

Voted straight Republican in Discovery Bay Calif. One of the poll workers is a close friend and staunch Republican. There should be NO demoncat BS at this polling place.

Just got home from voting. My area is central gulf coast of Florida. I know my precinct. Lots of retired seasoned citizens limping in the doors in a steady stream. Many of them are WW2 veterans and wives, so it gives me hope.
The ones that are carrying cans of dog food rather than Pepsis are the ones worrying me! :-)
Worker at the table told me voting's been steady, but no actual barn burner. However, she expects it to be really heavy when the after-work bunch comes in.
The touch screens were as easy as pie. I was done in less than 4 minutes. Only an idiot could fail to work this system correctly. Which means speed and accuracy in Broward, Dade, etc. counties on the other coast coast of Florida is doomed!
