This guy has a lot of guts not to play it the way the Feds want him to. He could now be on a permanent **** list.

A freind of mine had a very simular experience. He is a private guy and kept his phone number unavailable. The FBI said that they wanted help with an investigation. He brought a tape recorder to the meeting. They asked him to turn it off. He complied.
I will leave out some details in order to protect his privacy, but he was very unhappy, and said he willl never cooperate with the FBI again. I believe it is always in your interest to tape conversations with the police. The fact that the FBI was nervous about being on camera shows that they were up to no good.

RE: "Why didn't you give us a chance to do what we said we were going to do instead of ambushing us with the media? Why didn't you trust us?" one agent asked.

Ruby Ridge, Waco, OKC, TWA800, any number of ATF raids on gunshops/owners, yadda, yadda......
I really don't see how the FBI/ATF/TLA's intend to win the war on Islamakazis if they don't have/earn the trust of people like this guy.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Looks like you and I saw the same item as the key one.

"...The fact that the FBI was nervous about being on camera shows that they were up to no good..." Precisely.
Thier argument is often, "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about."
They convict themselves with their own words.
Screw their illegal, unconstitutional 'database'. Learn enough about the market to be able to confidently buy from private parties in areas as distant from your home as is practical using cash or barter.

"This guy has a lot of guts not to play it the way the Feds want him to. He could now be on a permanent **** list." I hope his income taxes for the last several years were up to snuff.

From experience....Never ever trust any FBI person. There are a few honest and or decent ones, by not trusting any of them, you are protecting yourself, that comes first.

"

The cops, FBI, will look up the obvious perps.
Then they look up innocent citizens.
Anything else is too complicated. They need to CYA and retire with full benefits.
They are just hacks who want no trouble from the bad guys.
