WOW! What a great sendoff for tomorrow's election!
This was a high-energy event, and I was there to capture it all on video! A fantastic band with great music, a capacity crowd of hundreds, and an infectious high-energy spirit wrapped up my event video making with flair!
No boring speech warning needed for this one - Bill Simon had the crowd at his fingertips, and the band made a great backing. Compared to the Pasadena event for Davis, this was a lot more fun, a lot higher energy, and the speeches were even entertaining!

This one's high-energy, just great to inspire you to go out there and vote tomorrow! The full-size pictures below should give you a good idea of what to expect from the video.
The high-energy atmosphere was just incredible, and still images just can't capture it. Due to an unfortunate shortage of time, there is only one version, at 13.1mb. I hope you'll enjoy it! All video requires QuickTime Player to view; available for Macintosh or Windows. If you want to save the video for multiple playings, right-click on the link pick save, and select the destination. (If you're using a Mac with a one-button mouse, Control-Click). Note that you will still have to download QuickTime to play it if it is not yet on your computer. |
Sadly, I'm still too drained to do an account of the event, so you'll have to settle for Cinnamon Girl's. But the pictures tell much of the tale, and the video does the rest! Quote from Bill, referring to one of his most loyal supporters, this endearingly loudmouthed oriental guy who kept on chanting "Si-mon, Si-Mon". "Everybody should have a Joe Kung. You're the best!" Bill's a real class act.
