I'll have to agree with Chrissy. If Donahue thinks he's conservative, he's highly misinformed.

I'll look for the transcripts.
I can't watch because of that boycott of MSNBC.

I ain't about to watch this. But I saw a promo a little while ago about a Matthews/Donohue "debate." Now that made me laugh.
What are they gonna argue about -- who's the bigger left-winger?! Or maybe who has the lower ratings?

The Mrs came out to say that Matthews was pontificating that this is why America likes Casblanca so much. That Rick was anti-war. 'Guess he never watched it to the end.

I'm watching it as a result of your post. But one has to wonder why the two lowest ratings hosts are so chummy.

Saw some of it... looks like a wake...

This is very entertaining in a sick way.
It is like watching two liberal drunks who have each had one too many argue over who more patriotic and who understands the country better. It is so funny...God, Matthews is such an EGOMANIAC, if you disagree with him at all he all but calls you a dumb Sh#t!!
Donahue is a loon, but at least he is standing up to Chris. This debate is fun to watch because you can tell each one really thinks the other one is full of Sh#t!!

Matthews chided Donohue for having a knee-jerk put down America reaction to everything. It was good. Matthews was worth watching.

The thing that struck me was how deeply unhappy both of these guys seemed. This was not your basic, cheerful, lets-talk-about-what-our-guys-can-do-in-the-bright-unlimited-future sort of chat.
I hate to read too much into it, but watching these two well-connected lefties take turns snarling and being morose on the eve of a national election does give one a warm, fuzzy feeling.
