What happens if we aren't of the same religion, or if we vote for different people?

what's it like to believe in god?

I'm praying that both the Senate and the House will have Republican majorities on Wednesday.
Remember: Pope Palladin says it is a MORTAL SIN to vote for a Democrat.

I will stop to vote on my way into work tomorrow morning. Since reaching voting age (it was 21 back then), I have NEVER missed an election.
Bumping some of the Catholic freepers, many of whom have been actively fasting.
Also, RnMomof7 and DrSteveJ, can you bump your protestant lists? This is an important election.

I been praying for God's watchful eye upon the election! This is a spiritual war and we need to fight it with fasting and prayer, and I'll be voting early in the morning tomorrow!!MAY GOD'S GRACE AND FAVOUR SHINE UPON US TOMORROW! Amen!

I've been praying about these elections for weeks and weeks. Hmm, make that months and months.
You are right, God is in control.

My prayer for voters and candidates in this election: For thou [art] my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Psalms 31:3

I've been debating whether or not to post this as I don't intend to open up a religous discussion on this thread. Guess what happens? Go ahead....take a wild stab at what happens?

I don't believe God picks sides in an election.

FRiend, I'm so busy with flags and pings and alarums I can't manage to find it, but there was a prayer chain started here last night- I think! Anyway, it's a perfectly decent idea, and I join you. Don't sweat the dissenters- white noise in the machine...

I've been praying for weeks and will continue tonight into tomorrow - or until the recounts are over, LOL.

To quote sweetliberty from another thread (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/781596/posts) "Clinton Makes Entrance by Trash Dumpster" (sorry, but I couldn't get the link to work):
The Rats may be able to cheat us but they CAN'T cheat God. We need not pray to win, but that the integrity of the election is maintained in spite of all the fraud they're commiting for their own self-interests.
Amen to that, and prayers going up for this election and that God's will prevails.
