Are there new numbers on the Maryland gubernatorial race? Major Garrett mentioned Florida and Maryland in the same segment speaking of Democrats virtually assured of coming up short in targeted races.
He sounded definitive, saying that, I quote, "It does not, I repeat NOT, look like (a Townsend win)is going to happen," because Ehrlich is leading. Has Ehrlich grown his lead beyong the MOE?
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: governorship; maryland

If I had to guess, I believe it was a WMAR Tv and some other group doing the poll. WBAL 1090 am has mentioned it.
I think it was like 52-45 in favor of (R) Bob

I encourage all Republican voters
to participate with exit polling. I encourage those participants to report (falsely) they voted straight Democrat. If enough of us "screw the pooch," so to speak, the media reliance on polling might lessen and their manipulation of the electorate through their polling, might fade.
If nothing else, messing with the exit numbers would put the cheaters at ease and fewer fraudulent, after hours votes might be cast. The finest benefit would be watching the gloating triumvirate of leftist news-readers slowly dissolve into dispair, on air, as the actual numbers materialize.

Which is why Maryland celebrates Dia de los Muertos on Nov. 5th this year.

It's a WMAL poll reported last night on ABC affiliate Channel 7 (WMAL). Their polls are normally done by Survey USA. But it matches up pretty well with a poll last week by Potomac Survey Research showing Ehrlich up 46-42%.

Hopefully that lead is enough to overcome the fraud and dead vote in Baltimore.

Ah, but that doesn't count the Baltimore County Graveyards, which reliably come in after 11PM on election night: I remember Ellen Sauebrey in the lead until Baltimore results came in, and then. . . >poof<

And, hopefully, Marylanders have learned a very hard lesson from past elections---I am pretty confident that our party, here in Maryland will be on top of things.

Never doubt the incomptence of the Maryland Republican Party. However, DiBaggio the US Attorney will hopefully give us an advantage that we did not have in 1998 and 1994.

What do you think about the request for absentee ballots for repubs in Maryland? I am getting conflicting information--word straight from the committee (I receive their email) is that the request for ballots was completely legal--now I see another post on Freerepub saying something different. When I spoke with the office in Annapolis last week, they said not to worry.

In rat-speak, 51/45 certainly IS neck and neck. In rat-speak,if the rat is behind any where inside the margin,it's a dead heat. If the rat is ahead by 1 point forget the moe - he's ahead. If the rat is ahead 2 points or more, it's a commanding lead.

Sounds like you have more information on that front than I do. Last I heard there were 10,000 absentee applications that were rejected by the State Election Board or Court because they did not have a line for the date of birth. Up to 9,000 of the persons affected were supposed to have been contacted and something done. As for the 1000. I don't know. From what I heard it was a stupid mistake by the Republicans. And was technically illegal. But I thought the Democrats did not want to disenfranchise anyone. Yeah right. They don't care about Republican intentions and their votes. Only blacks and stupid Florduh people.
