The Maryland attorney general is reviewing the Democratic Party's plan to hire more than 1,000 people as poll workers on Election Day and pay them up to $110 each, a get-out-the-vote strategy that Republicans decried as a flagrant violation of state law.

Took a quick search under Ehrlich and did not see this. I thought this was of interest. We are not out of the woods yet - the Dems will try hard to steal this election.

To all MD Freepers - have you been getting Ehrlich stuff in the mail the last couple days. Not only am I getting stuff in the mail, but my home PC has been gettig boatloads of stuff from the Ehrlich newsletter. His tv commercials the last couple of days have been smart and right-on. Big, big push in the last hours. I will vote tomorrow, watch a little tv, and pray a lot.

The full version points out that the DEMs found a 'loophole' in the law. This just shows that they have no respect for the intent of any law and if they can find a way to win, even when they know that they are doing something that is, at face value, illegal.
Please vote tomorrow so we might again know what the meaning of 'is' is. The whole DEM party is suffering from the Clinton desease. Let's vote for the Rebublican cure.

The state prosecutor promises to arrest anyone who hires a pollworker or anyone who accepts money to work the polls but the Rats don't care because by that time they will have already stolen the election.

And you noticed this story was buried on Page B4 of the Post, didn't you? I read most of the paper this morning and I missed this story. But the Post has space on the front page of the Style section for a gigantic puff piece on Tiny Tom Daschle...

I don't understand why you need people to GET OUT THE VOTE at the polls...I mean, AREN'T the people there? Are they planning to go, walk in, turn around and leave? I don't understand this.
