Should you hold your breath?

I don't put anything past the Dems. I just hope voters show up "prepared". As in: having proper ID; having registered properly and on time; no felony record, etc...

That way, maybe the Dems can't yell foul when it's over.

You look smashing, as always!

Maybe tonight, since we are all busy writing our letters, we could all just sit in the audience and watch in awe at what man has made: rockets to outer space. We can watch the bears that are already in orbit. They look like they are having a good time. We could each bring a teddy bear. Thoughts anybody?

Years ago, I was lucky enough to scuba dive off of Athens beach.

Scuba Dive? Sigh! OK, I never learned how to scuba dive although my father and other siblings knew how to. I love to snorkel and swim though - I miss the beaches of Hawaii and the Philippines. White sands and coconut trees!

I hope your house isn't swaying tonight, Kathy. Glad you're all okay too!

I have Duchess to thank for my new wardrobe. She was afraid I'd keep posting body parts. : )

Good selection of snacks, LaDiva, and not too many crumbs. Everybody should be able to find something they like. Good job!

Is the music supposed to constantly skip?

I didn't think so...

Anyway, great tidbits again today!

How many Coast Guard Auxiliary folks are there? And from how big an area? Or does each Coast Guard Station have their own? Are we a happy camper because we get 3 Coast Guard Days in a row? I'm sorry about the Bears. *HUG*

Yeah, it is quite a culture shock when you realize how far Massachusetts has fallen regarding patriotism. We were once the birthplace of freedom and have become the east coast's leader in Socialism.

I lived down south for a few years and I enjoyed the experience. I know that a lot of Southerners don't like Yankees(Gee, I was made fun of but did not let it bother me, perhaps I should have sued for a hate crime! LOL!), but I fit in fine. Some of my fondest memories are down south.

The funny thing is, while Mass people CLAIM to be so enlightened and tolerant, we routinely denigrate the South. A lot of people here think they are the cream of the crop where as they are rude, indulgent parasites that care nothing for the general well being of the country.

I am sure you have heard the derision that is heaped upon people that have a Southern Accent when we hear it. It is ironic when Bostonians have the weirdest accent around(Myself included.:D), this great state has become a bastion of liberalism and LaDivaLoca is absolutely correct in saying that Mass is a Liberal stronghold.

Since we are on a canteen thread, I will add that the Naval bases are being phased out here and since we are STRATEGICALLY important to all but the most brain dead liberals, it is a crime against national security.

Within ten years, we will literally have NO military presence in New England. We will have Military LABS, but no actual operational bases here whatsoever. The entire Northeast will be bereft of ANY operational forces whatsoever. In the Leftists viewpoint:No one would EVER spy on us if we are liberal! LOL! How do they get that stupid?

The fact that Leftists want High-Tech research bases here with NO protection should speak words to you all.

My apologies for the rant, but I think it is well placed. LaDivaLoca, you are correct! There are the 13% of us that still cares. People here carp on about the jobs Raytheon and GE give us but in reality this state does not DESERVE to host these companies. The companies I mentioned would be better off leaving. Unless the country thinks that the highest tech we have to offer is being COMPLETELY undefended from the world, a good thing.

Oh-oh... did I go to far? :D
