Dear Editor:

Your partisanship is showing.

The First Lady of the United States of America visits Raleigh on Friday evening for Elizabeth Dole and you neglect to make a mention Saturday until page 14A, where a small picture graces the bottom right.

I think everyone who reads your paper understands what would have been different had Erskine Bowles brought in Hillary Clinton (which he would never have done, considering her unpopularity in this state).

Sincerely,

Bill Cobey Chairman, North Carolina Republican Party

Big editorial today by that rag on why they support Irksome Bowels. Sad part of this mess is that the "working class" and minorities buy into Bowels being for the working man.
