I hope Freepers will go and vote -- I'd hate to have Kofi Annan end up as the "World Leader of the Year" -- or heaven forbid Saddam Hussein! Remember Time magazine wanted to put Bin Laden on the cover as "Man of the Year" for 2001?

I can't believe they had Osama Bin Laden and Fidel Castro's names listed for Leaders of the Year.
Sick.

Remember this is part of the history channel (which isn't) and A&E. If it ain't left wing it doesn't win, which begs the question how come they are broadcasting mail call?

And why the hell is he listed ABOVE Bush?
Anyway, I voted for W because Calvin Coolidge wasn't on the list.

Voted. I can't believe some of the choices. As much as I love the Pope, I think President Bush has shown himself to be the true world leader. He's also shown how irrelevant the UN is.

I voted. I couldn't help but wonder if it was just coincidence that they first listed Kofi Annan and then Yassir Arafat as choice #2.

Good for you. It says that you can vote every day. BUT I found that if you want to go to the trouble of clearing your cookies and closing your browser and re-opening it, you can vote multiple times the same day.

The same thing it was doing on the list of candidates for Time magazine's "man of the year" for 2001.
That's the liberal terrorist sympathizers for you...
