Can we book the cruise through our favorite personal Cruise Travel agent? Or do we have to use yours?

I'm going to defer that to Bahama Mama. She's around here somewhere...
To: opditch2002
Ahoy, opditch!
Anyone is free to book however and wherever they wish.
We appreciate the wonderful fraternity of freepers who register within our group's reserved block of cabins as, by doing so, it will support FRN's developing programs to strengthen, assist and provide educational material to our many hard-working conservative activist chapters located all over our country.
Thanks for your question. Happy to see you're considering our "FReeps Ahoy" cruise.

Hi, neighbor. I'm on 8A too. Back home in Wisconsin we called it a boh-aht. This is going to be fun.

I don't know if you can request or apply for a Quantum Master Card, it sounded in the letter I got from them that it was being offered to prefered customers with a $25k or better limit on their cards and never carried a balance.
Besides the trip cancelation insurance, my card before the upgrade covered rental car insurance and doubled any warantys on purchases made with the card which was handy.
To: dalereed
Thaks, dalereed. I get the upgrade offer it seems like every 2 weeks and toss them on the way into the house. Next time I won't.

Freeper reservations are rolling in to the travel agency and will keep on rolling in during the coming months. The cruise committee will get a roster shortly before embarkation. However, we don't publish the names of anyone going on the cruise for privacy reasons. Cruise lines and travel agencies don't reveal this information, either. We will get a final count at that time, also.
Just keep your eyes peeled for folks posting voluntarily on these threads who say they're going. When you get aboard, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the number of your favorite Freepers who have signed on!

There may be some confusion over reply # 97 on this Bahama Mama thread in regard to the personal ID documents you must have to go aboard the ship. Let me clear it up:
U.S. citizens must present proof of citizenship in the form of:
1) A passport
Or
2) ORIGINAL birth certificate or state-issued CERTIFIED copy of birth certificate
Or
3) U.S. Military ID
Or
4) Original naturalization papers.
There are more caveats in #97, so to anyone signing up for this cruise it's imperative you read this vital information and make sure your documents are in order ahead of time.

Hi, Bizzy, you have freepmail. Thanks,

I believe that I read a thread that said the names of those signed up wouldn't be pulished for privacy reasons. Would it be reasonable to post a running tally of the
numbers of FReepers signed up to date?
It should be fun to watch the numbers grow.

Cruise news will return after the holidays, so stay tuned. Right now, Bahama Mama and cruise committee crew are concentrating on holiday preparations and family. SEA y'all then!
FReeps Ahoy!

What is the very last day for registration, what's the maximum number of adults allowed in ONE stateroom, what do they mean when they say that most twin beds can be made into a kingsize bed, and how many king size beds are allowed in ONE stateroom?
Does the stated price for a 3rd/4th person apply for ANY stateroom is this just the bottom price for additional people above the two people? Do you know how many staterooms are still available in the 6-8 categories?

Hi, webber. You have so many detailed questions, please check your freepmail.
Folks, if you have questions about the cruise, please post them on the Bahama Mama Q & A thread. The link is at the beginning of this thread. Thanks.

Just curious to see how many have signed up?
To: hoosiermama
Prior to the holidays, 20% of the 100 cabins we have reserved en bloc were taken. Reservations are still coming in. We'll know from the travel agency after registration is closed how many individual persons are signed up and we'll let you know. Many cabins have more than one or two passengers in them. We don't see the registration forms and we go by cabins reserved.
Now that the holiday hiatus is over, the tempo will pick up. Our block of cabins may fill up fast, freepers, so get your reservations in today without delay!
