We're Down To The Wire, How Are We All Holding Up?
Self | 11/01/02 | timydnuc

Posted on 11/01/2002 2:39:50 PM PST by timydnuc

Here we are, down to the wire. The "news cycle" will end in about an hour. Although the lefty press will be working overtime this weekend to support RAT candidates.

Here in Minnesota it's a total zoo. The RATS have shown their furry little butts on National TV for a period of three and a half hours that made people, through out this country, run for the Pepto Bismol. They recruited the old "Norwegien Wood", Walter Mundane to carry the water of socialism into the United States Senate and offically give South Dakota it's 4th Senator. They have set in motion the infamous law suits already. Thank God that the Legislature wrote these election statutes so "close to the bone". The RATS were denied 95% of what they asked for in the MN Supreme Court. The Republican party is fired up and pi$$ed off, for a change, and they are watching for voter fraud. We have been urged, as a single voter to watch carefully when voting and report anything "funny" happening when you vote. The Republican "base" is at critical mass energy. The turnout promises to be immense. Don't pay any attention to the polls, they are so influenced and so inaccurate at this point they are not worth the paper that they are printed on. The RATS made this personal on National TV, and we are going to make them pay.

There is a little problem that our little RAT friends are too confused to calculate. Try this on for size: we have a three way race for Governor here in Minnesota. A RAT, a Pubbie, and and Indy. So for the polls (run by the "Red"Star in Minneapolis) calls it dead even, 33% for all candidates. Now, we all know that Wally Mundane won't go the full 6 years, he's a empty suit to keep a Senate majority, the problem comes when he retires. For the solution to that we must look to the Govenatorial race. The latest poll has Roger Mo (D) pulling third, but within the margin of error, the front runner is Tim Plenty (R) slightly ahead of Tim Penny (I) by a point. These are the facts as they are now.

The RATS have totally ignored their prospects in the Govenatorial race! Here are the scenerios:

1) The easiest(for us): Coleman wins and all's right with the world.

2) RATS nightmare: Tim Plenty (R) wins Gov. and Fritz the fossel wins the Senate. No way he can retire before the end of his term. The Republican appoints a Republican to take his place.

3) RATS really bad dream: Tim Penny wins Gov. (don't say it can't happen, I give you...Jesse Ventura). Fritzy putz still has to serve 6 years or Penny replaces Mundane with a good Independant, qualified, statesman....can you say Jesse "The Senator" Ventura. I don't scoff at this because I think it might be kinda fun.

This is a real interesting prospect here in Minnesota that is calling these scenerios. Normally these people are as political passionate as their cooking. Lefsa and white fish! I'm a transplant from the SOUTH. West Texas bread, and raised, Louisiana 6 years of my formal carrier. Where I come from, politics is the 2nd sport (football is the first). But, this year, they remind me of home. The RATS have shown themselves to be exactly what they are. I agree with Rush to a point. He says that when the RATS are out of power, that is when they are the funniest. This election has shown thus far, and will show much more, how dangerous they can be to a free Republic. They aim to take our freedom away from us and place all of us in a socialist state. A state where the elite are immune to laws and the subservient work for the elite. No matter the nobility of your profession, no matter the talent of your hands. They aim to control us all, and everything we do, everything we buy, everything we speak, everything we create, and every thought we think.

I want to hear from my fellow FReepers on how you are preparing for these next 5 days.

To me, the glass is half full!

Nope, sorry I don't. You may try to post it on the NC state board and see if we can find someone that has one.

How would one go about getting a phone line hook up? I don't feel comfortable asking the owner for a phone line.

Maybe we could call a NC FReeper at home via cell phone periodically and get updates that way.

You just made my point!

We must change the federal judiciary. The present judiciary legislates from the bench. The laws that govern the People come from the representatives that are elected by the People. Federal Judges are set there to inturpret the laws of the People and regugitate the decision of that law. They are not there to create law where the People have made laws to the opposite. My voice comes from the legislature, not from a pompass ass that sits in a judicial position.

The founding fathers of this nation put this down on paper, and made it the law of the land. They gave us a Republic that we could be proud of. They gave it to us to keep and defend, they gave it to us to love and nurture, keep pure and clean, as we would have life it's self. They gave it to us to fight for, for the rest of our lives, and the lives of our sons, and our grandsons, and our great-grandsons, and our great-great-grandsons, and all of the ancestors of the great call of freedom. This is the last island of freedom. The enemy tries to destroy us. They envy us because they can't emmulate us. Therefore, they must kill us.

They just don't understand the free man. You will never beat us, freedom is more important than water, it's more important than food. You can't kill us, freedom never dies. You can never silence the call of freedom, it is planted in every man's soul by God, the Almighty. Men fight for freedom, and when they win it's called The United States of America. Strong, and brave, and free.

Socialism won't enslave me, because I love God. Givin the option of living in salvery or dying in defense of my country. I'd say a little prayer, lock and load, and gladly take a bunch of those bastards with me, and go to God. With the call of liberty on my lips, freedom in my heart, and the smell of my children in my brain.

I'll die on my feet, before I'll live on my knees!

Or...As for me! Give me liberty, or give me death! A quote from the honerable Patrick Henry, of Virginia.

Due to illegal immigration and the INS looking the other way (according to a recent NR article, 18 of the 19 Sept. 11 terrorists should have had their visa applications revoked for being improperly filled out), the Democrats are headed for demographic victory sometime in the next ten years. At that time, it will be necessary to evcuate America, and maybe Earth. No need to panic, though, we still have a few years to build spaceships.

(As you can tell, I'm not being optimistic this time. I'll vote, because it's all I can do, but I'm not being optimistic.)

I keep having flashbacks to 2000, when I had to live in the belly of the beast - Tallahassee - while the drama played out.
We don't have a senatorial election in Florida this year, and it frustrates me that I can't cast my vote for a Republican majority.

All I can do is cast my vote for Jeb, and I would crawl over broken glass to cast my Bush ballot.

I'm trying to get a lot of rest this weekend, because I doubt if I'll get any sleep Tuesday night. And I'm going to be a wreck...

I, for one, am a nervous wreck...but then I always am right before elections. I'm taking my daughter with me to vote for the first time and am SO excited about that! I'm so proud! I won't be sleeping well, though, until this is over, wondering what dirty tricks the demonrats have up their sleeves.

Timy, we're holding up fine in Coastal Georgia... looks like we have a chance of retiring Max Cleland, but Sonny Perdue's challenge of the rotter Barnes seems a no-show... at least to judge by the lack of ads down here.

I had the pleasure of meeting in person dansangel and .45man mid-week-- they are a lovely & charming couple, and dedicated activists. They helped show Jihad Cindy ( McKinney ) the door...

So while we may not get in its entirity all the results we'd like, it won't be for lack of trying.

Exactly. I am steeling myself for an ordeal like Gore put us through in Florida, which is no closure for months. There is no way the Demos will let the pubbies win when there are so many nice lawsuits to file and so many lawyers. Look at what the NJ court did for Lautenberg. So many races are so close, there will be recount after recount. "Keep counting until you win" courtesy Al Gore. Minnesota is going to be a mess. So is Missouri. Count on it.

The field poll here in California now show Simon only down by 3. This could be a count and recount situation here. Every vote is going to count here. Every single one.

Very encouraged, now that they let the Rapist-in-Chief out to stump in Florida. Whenever Klintoon gets nat'l attention, its good for the GOP everywhere! Keep up the hard work, and remember to pray!
