The brits did this a century ago, and really intimidated the muslim fanatics. it's worth a try, and do you really think this could make the terrorists behave any worse???

It wasn't the .38 Special, it was the even weaker .38 Long Colt. They pulled the old Colt .45 Peacemakers out of storage and sent them to the PI.

"I think they're stupid. There is a need to defend yourself, but there is no need to offer insults that might lead to tit-for-tat revenge. In my opinion, it's sufficient to kill the guys who are attacking you. I also think it's important to emphasize that we are more civilized than our enemies."
Too bad there are too many like you in our current government.

We should have been doing that all along. Actually we use the bodies as hog slop. That'll work.

Amok is an Indonesian word As far as I know, it's the ONLY Indonesian word that's become part of the English language. It is unique, in that it has two correct spellings in English -- amok, and amuck.

Here, here! I like the way the Russians think. As you suggest, the PC crowd in this country would indeed have a hissy fit. F--- 'em.

roger on the .45, hoosierham.
My dad served in Italy in WWII. He said he saw lots of wounded GIs who had been shot with the 9mm Luger, but he never saw a live German with a .45 hole in him.
9mm is just not adequate. The ballistics aren't that much better than the .38 S&W or .38 short (NOT .38 special) that the .45 replaced. We are moving backwards, probably because too many people think they can't shoot a .45 because of the "recoil." Bah. The recoil isn't all that bad, my 14 year old daughter can shoot my 1911A1 (and even hit what she aims at!) and she's a skinny thing.
I vote for pig fat in the hollow points, myself.

Was it you who had the idea of dropping the 82nd into Mecca, taking the black moon-god meteorite chunk they worship as the ka'aba rock, and bringing it back to NYC?
I think the plan was to grind it up and make it into a cross, to be placed atop the new 120 story World Trade Center. This way, they would have to a cross facing NYC.

He had the awareness to realise the situation and take appropriate action - hello - check out the Dutch putting down riots in 1300 something - no more riots. Not PC - they did it with blunderbusses.

It's 10pm....you know the drill.
Had a great day today....
Went to the county range with another old fart -- and went through about 60 rounds at the 100yd line...
Using commercial ammo - and a couple of very old 30-06 bolt actions with good glass --- could still keep 80% within a 3" circle..
The shaking is visable.... You can actually see the reticle dancing across the bottom of the damned bulls eye! Breathing control, tightening the sling around your arms and "locking in" - will still not stop the damned old man shakes. Getting old is a bitch...

Prince Dracula is actually Vladimir the impaler (also known as Vlad the great). One of the most famous stories of him, is how he took hundreds of his victims, had them impaled on large wooded stakes, outside of the city, along the road. When a army came to invade, the stench nearly knocked them out, but when they saw the ghastly display, the men became demoralized, and the were filled with fear, they turned around and left.

Let's see, that's a 15" circle at 500 yards. That would still work.
I've got about 1/6th of my book typed into Word; it's going too slowly, but at least I have cut my freeping way back. I'll send you these chapters in Word attachments if you want to see what I have so far.

Someone should pose this question to the Ask the Imam and Islam Q&A type sites:
If dying while killing for jihad sends the killer straight to paradise, does it do any harm for your enemy to sew your corpse inside of pigskin? Have you already left the body or is there a waiting period whereby you might be trapped inside your corpse?
As to the important question of "when does life begin", Ask The Imam says that angels blow souls into the womb at 4 months.

Then sell them as paperweights, as "a piece of the rock". It worked for the Berlin Wall.
There is no way an object of such evil veneration could be purified for recasting as a religous symbol of any proper religion. Bigger pieces would also be useful for holding down garbage can lids in a high wind.
