Lucky you! I came home tonight to a message on my recorder from Sarah Brady. Campaigning against Jim Talent......asking me to call him...."to keep UZI's off the streets!" Unspeakable!
To: Mo1
Shoot. I didn't get the TV turned on until Mahr was done and Marilyn Manson (?) was in the chair. I spent too much darn time trying to post a link! I need to go back to the HTML sandbox.

I am just having the worst time trying to put a decent sentence together! Try this though....
"Ladies and gentlemen, without the United States we would be in fear." It's not the best sentence, but it certainly does sound like Dubya talking. They must have recorded speeches of his and cut the words up into little individual clips.
Anyone come up with something worth listening to?
To: marylina
Well Mahr sounded like a fool as usually .. I just got a kick out of Jay
He even mentioned his wife and how really liberal she is .. but when she called President Bush for help in her cause with the Afgan women he helped her right away and that Jay and his wife were really impressed in the treatment they rec'd from the President

I personally would have trouble treating someone who had treated me that way so well. He's just ..... GOOD! He forgives so easily.

Lucky you! Well not as lucky as OhioWfan .. but I'll take it .. hehe

LOL! How true, how true! I just couldn't think of anything that might help Ohio to be calm. Oh, okay, I just said a prayer asking for peace of mind and confidence for Ohio so that she can sleep.

I have a feeling this site is under attack from the RATS, I have to wonder if they aren't bombarding the site by pinging with a DOS command that repetively hits the server and slows down everything.
I would be interested in knowing what the problem is here lately?

FR has been operating really wierd and incredibly slow of late. The election is getting close and the traffic load may be a lot higher, or
The terrorists are trying hacking and cyber attack test runs.

Thanks so much for the tip to watch Leno. It was great to see him defending the Prez from outright lies.
His wife was "stunned" to be treated so well? A meeting in the Oval Office with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice about her cause of helping Afghan women who were enduring terrible oppression.
Reminds me of that passage in Fighting Back, where the black principal of the elementary school who thought Bush was a phony had the chance to see him during and just after the time where he was informed about the terrorist attack on the WTC, and she said that afterwards she was a convert because he had no script but was calm and deliberate and thoughtful and in command and definitely not a phony.
Whenever we can break through the media propaganda and people can see this President in real time, unedited, then they can see for themselves what we see.
And thanks again for rintense for all her end runs around the media with the daily Dose!!

This is changing the subject slightly; but has anyone seen a book that has come out recently about the Washingtons? It's called "Mount Vernon Love Story"? It's written by Mary Higgins Clark. Apparently she wrote it a long time ago under another title. One of G.W.'s descendants came across it, and loved it. This person asked MHC to re-release it; and she did.
The new title is the one above. I stopped to look at it, and it seems to be really charming. I didn't see what her sources were. But I glanced through to read a few parts of it, and it tells his story in flashback. It begins on the day he leaves the presidency, and John Adams is inaugurated. He is thinking back on his life, and his marriage, his presidency.
Some of it seems to line up with the story told in the old 1980's mini-series. I'd like to buy it as soon as I can, and read all of it. But if anyone sees it and reads it, tell me what you think of it. It has an poignant, warm, romantic touch to it.

Yeah, like she's going to get any sleep tonight! I didn't. :o)
The way I figure this, though, is that if I see the President up close and personal, or hear him speak from the top of the balcony, it's going to be a fabulous experience!
This man is going to be judged by history as one of the greatest American Presidents ever! And you saw it first right here on the Daily Dose! WE KNEW!! LOL!
Well gotta go!! WVNan we'll be on our way in a little more than an hour!! See you soon!!
btw, Eric said, no thanks when I asked if he'd wear his uniform! :o)

No, that's my caption. As you can see by the opening remarks, I was a little irreverent today- and disgusted with the Democrats. It's pretty rare I let those feelings show in the opening remarks, but I just couldn't help myself.
To: DrDeb
Great news. But someone email that to FOXNEWS because they keep quoting their own poll- probably done by Dick Morris.

Hahaha! I have no idea. We just got Hannity a few weeks ago here in West Michigan and I'm enjoying listening to him once again on the drive home. I still take issue with his repetitive hammering on various issues, but like Rush, he is at his best when slamming the liberal agenda.
