Conservative WebSite Hacking - Election Day 2002 (Mild Vanity)

I have noticed (so have others) that the FR forum has been acting "funky" lately. Sometimes the website is slow, sometimes can't get in at all.
While the powers that be are working on the problem, I have a comment. Remember Election 2000? If you recall, the National GOP Website, Drudge Report, and other conservative leaning websites were hacked just in time for election day. While I doubt that many people go searching for information on election day to decide their choices, remember that democrats will do ANYTHING (legal, ethical, or not) to win.
If anyone here hosts a conservative leaning web-site, I would advise you to make sure it is hack-proof for election day.

I would like to know where to go if for some reason FR goes down or the congestion is horrorable and we can't get in? Any suggestions?? I for one want to be ready with a back up!!

Last time it happened we invited you up to Free Dominion at
http://www.freedominion.ca. It's a bit chilly here but the back bacon and Molson's will warm you up in no time.

Certainly plausible to me.
I have wondered if my encouraging FREEPERS to post on Oprah incurred the devils' wrath etc. One poster was exhorting people on Oprah's message board to watch out because there were messages on a well known conservative site' encouraging their (our) members to post at Oprah--as though it was some kind of dispicable thing to do. Sheesh.
Sure hope I didn't trigger a hacking onslaught of some kind. John has enough stuff to do!!!
Sorr, if I did, John, though Oprah's board certainly needs FREEPERS to post there!

Things have been flaky here for a little bit and makes me wonder. Its gotten particularly bad in the last couple of weeks.
Have the admins responded with info on why this is happening? If not, I am sure they are working on it.....quietly.

I believe that a service denial attack is illegal; the offenders can be traced.
