I quickly channeled surfed all three of these Networks a few minutes ago and they ALL had negative stories about the Wellstone "Memorial Service." This looks to be a backfiring PR disaster for the Demmycrats if even the liberal networks have no choice but to report negatively on this.
BTW, CBS led into the story about that "Memorial Service" with a silly negative story about how Norm Coleman was somehow besmirching the memory of Paul Wellstone because he flew around Minnesota today in the same kind of jet that Wellstone used when he crashed. That's the worst they can say about Coleman?

Brokaw said on Nightly that a family spokesperson indicated they had no idea what this was going to become.I screamed at the set-his sons were not exactly innocent bystanders.

I did see NBC's and ABC's. I was very surprised they gave it a negative slant. I thought NBC's had the harshest criticism of the "Funeral"/Pep Rally.

I agree with you -- Republicans need to get out of the way!

Rush also seemed to be discouraged about the fact that all the races where Republicans win will be challenged by the DirtycRATS in court!
Rush also brought up the massive vote fraud.
No wonder he seemed to be subdued!!

This is who they are. This is what Democrats teach their kids about respect and dignity and propriety, as shown by the juvenille populist cry of "we will win" from the junior Wellstone. One of the most accurate observations I've ever seen on FR in the 3 1/2 years (plus lurking time) I've ever seen....

Operative Words -Dan Rather said Oh, the kind with wings, wheels, engines, etc?
I'm surprised Dan didn't explain how this was part of the larger Republican conspiracy.

As usual CBS has their facts wrong. Wellstone was in a King Air 100 turbo prop. Coleman was shown boarding a Citation jet. Even if Coleman used the same kind of jet, what's the problem? If a friend of mine is killed driving a Corvette, am I being callous for also driving a Corvette? Makes no sense.

I think Mondale is done, unless Minnesotans are as depraved as the assclowns in that theatre. From your lips to God's ear. Let's hope Harkin is included in the mix as his rah rah performance was shameful.

Dude, Rule #1: Stop thinking. For Democrats, it's all about feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings, man.

Dan Rather said IT WAS THE SAME KIND OF PLANE WELLSTONE USED. Yup. Same kind of plane. They both had wings and went up in the air.

Mondale BOMBED in his presidential run....another has been propped up by the DNC.

If we win big, there is less chance they will challenge....hopefully, we will win with bigger margins than expected in some close races.

That was a poll taken before the memorial rally. And I think there was some problems in how it was skewed.

All I caught today of television broadcast news was the 8:00 AM CST top of the hour report on CBS. The newsreader said, two or three times, that "republicans" were outraged that the event turned into campaign rally. An innocuous clip was shown. There was no real explanation of why people were outraged, and no ackowledgement that anyone but "republicans" were upset.

You forget the CYB syndrome, networks don't want the "bad press" they got last time around...so they will play both sides of the fence as always.

Rush did almost half his show on the travesty of Wellstone's "memorial" pep rally. He said it was one of his darkest days in radio. You should subscribe to Rush 24/7. Then you could listen anytime you want...commercial free. I'm really excited. I'm going to a dinner for the 80th birthday of KFBK, a local radio station where Rush got his start, in Sacramento on Nov. 8. He is going to be the keynote speaker. I'm jazzed. I met George Bush and now Rush. What a year!
