So all I have to do is claim to be an undocumented illegal alien at the hospital to receive free medical care? Am I right here or am I missing something?

The bad guys are flying into Mexico and just walking across. We might as well just shoot ourselves.

An absurd ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1982 declared that children of illegal immigrants have a constitutional right to free public education. It prohibited schools from denying illegal aliens access to education based on the status of their citizenship. All it take is a little guts to tell the Feds to take a hike and refuse to to do it.
The federal Gov't may neither issue directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command State' officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program. It matters not whether policy making is involved, and no case by case weighing of the burdens or benefits is necessary; such commands are fundamentally incompatible with our constitutional system of dual sovereignty.

The National Restaurant Association needs these people to keep their labor costs low. You the taxpayer get stuck with the bill for the Govt. services they use or require, tough luck to you. Or, you must be a racist for objecting to paying $89,000 per illegal.

This has been going on a long time. The democrats have a source of ever-increasing votes and the republicans cheap labor. Every poll taken shows Americans do *not* want this going on but politicians pay no attention. Anyone who even dares broach the subject is immediately branded a "racist" or "white nationalist" and considered insensitive if we do not welcome with open arms everyone who wishes to live here, soak up benefits and free health care on your dime. Get used to it, Californians have been warning us about this for years but nobody paid any attention. Coming soon to a town near you.

It's time we had someone with the political guts to put the immigration issue right - and it's not going to be either the Dems or the Reps anytime soon. The Dems are too devoted to spurious "civil rights" issues and the Reps are too controlled by vested business interests who benefit from the status-quo with cheap labor and no accountability.
We either have immigration laws, or we do not. At the moment, we are in a state of anarchy - we have laws, but they are applied haphazardly and without any perceivable discipline.
We MUST clamp down on our borders and protect them from ingress by illegals. In order to both dignify and legitimize those who seek to come here to work hard and contribute, we should employ the system common in Europe - a Worker's Visa program. People can apply to enter and live here as legal aliens. They pay taxes, educate their kids and so forth, but have no status as citizens or as immigrants - nor are they entitled to any social services or other govt programs. Once they have resided here for a period of, say, five to ten years, with no police record they may apply for Immigrant Status. After that, citizenship. ALL others who lack proper Visa credentials must be summarily deported. No hearings, no manouvering, just sent back to where they came from. This is the very least we can expect of our Fed. Gov. After all, it's about the only task alloted them by the constitution!

What is the name of the Seattle INS official who overruled the Border Patrol agents so Malvo was released? It should be a matter of public record. Please don't this item fade into obscurity.
