I want to be the first to go on record with a prediction. Within a very short period of time, the Democrats and their sympathetic media will be attacking Bush for this. The attack will be centered around whether or not it is "appropriate" for Bush/Cheney to appear with the NRA President "so soon after the sniper slayings", slyly implying that the NRA is somehow responsible for three weeks of terrorism by a Black Muslim extremist. It wouldn't surprise me at all if allegations that the alleged campaign support from Bushmaster meant in some way that Bush helped "provide the weapon."

Chuck could start holding an AR-15 aloft and support ALL of the NRA members. It is a lot lighter than a musket, too.
