All video lost for several minutes... only audio. You could hear folks in the control room saying what was that, I have never saw that before. Guys in the control room were saying, Dirty Bomb? Nuke?... over and over again. Someone said I think it was a major power hit. Weird listing to TV with no video. They are back with minimal video at 2:26:00. People on edge for several minutes

"Power Lunch" is on. What's the big deal? Is this another sweeps week? Did the big boss say, you either improve your ratings or it lights out?
I'll bet they get a big spike if only from this FR report. It sounded to me like more than it was... and it did to the control room people who were broadcasting without knowing it... kind of Orson Wells, Space Ships have landed.

CNBC has some great shows. Do not confuse with MSNBC.

Agree--best show is on Friday nights at 9 P.M., rebroadcast at midnight--The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board with Paul Gigot, Dorothy Rabinowitz, Dan Henninger, Susan Lee, and Bob Bartley--consistently the best conservative round table discussion that I have ever heard. They encapsulate the week's news events into 4 segments spread out over 1 hour...fascinating.

Ever been around the xmtr HV cage when some idiot opens the cage while we're on the air and the shorting bar arc-welds itself across the HV, and then caps and rectifiers start exploding like M-80s?
Talk about your bright light!

The guy's actual words were "someone set up us the bomb." Easy mistake to make...

Indeed. I've said it before and I'll say it again: CNBC will be off the air before we enter the next Bull Market.

Yeah. For a while I thought that the sniper was hiding on MSNBC because no one would ever see him there.

Why would he hide there if Hillary's underpants were available?

Why would he hide there if Hillary's underpants were available? He can't. Hillary's underwear are haunted by Vince Foster's ghost. Plus they are full of Whitewater documents and the numerous souls she's imprisoned over the years.

If they hear a loud noice in the control room It can be an impressive sound, usually because it is unexpected. Somewhat short of a nuke, however.
