Two points.

State residency is not necessarily a prerequisite to guard membership. When I commanded a company in Alabama, I had several unit members that lived in other states. Of course, my unit was located near the Tn/Al border.

Second, I'm not sure just how one gets a court martial in the guard. The UCMJ only applies when the unit is in federal service. IOW, this guy would have had to be on active duty and, therefore, his courts martial would not be related to guard service. In my three years as a CO, I gave no Article 15s or CMs. There were other ways of enforcing discipline but the UCMJ was not one of them. Of course, I was a CO in the early 80s, maybe things have changed.

Each state has its own UCMJ, which almost mirrors the federal UCMJ.

Muhammad served in Oregon under a one year trial period. The one year trial period allows you to break your contract if you find that taking orders and discipline hurts your self esteem. My guess is that he probably only pulled a couple of drills during his 12 month stint.

My dad, long-time civil engineer consultant in Texas, said the smoke, fire, and flame intensity in the WTC was "way, way too much to be due to the airplane fuel alone - even when combined with the papers and office material in the area.

He's been deeply suspicious of "flamables" packed intot heose floors ahead of time ... such as in "unboxed" containers or something else.

Sprinkler systems "work" could be an excuse for more sabatogue/mayhem.

Such as filling the sprinlker system with a combustable? Or simply "securing" the system in that area so was no effect?

No I wouldn't say that for sure but in this case it certainly seems to be. You have to admit that lately where muslims are there is bound to be dead Americans. I am not saying that he was hired out by AQ but I am saying that he shares their ideas and his goals are/were the same. I can not say for sure that he is AQ but I think that if he was given the chance he would take out more American lives. He is accused of plotting against American troops and I think that is reason enough to believe that he has terroristic tendencies and ideas.
