President Bush headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico today to join the prime ministers, presidents and representatives of the 21 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation nations during the APEC summit. Bush spoke to the media while he visited with Mexican President Vicente Fox, and reiterated that the US is prepared to strike Iraq on its own if the UN does not decide on a resolution. The President also addressed immigration issues by stating, "The long-term answer for the migration issue is to work in a way that encourages commerce on both sides of the border so people can find jobs here in Mexico, for starters. That's the long-term solution." Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

OH, trust me Gramma, that memory is seared into my mind forever!
He then got his guitar out and started playing for the first time in months. He's got to get his callouses back! :o)

Yeah......the trouble is that he's too focused on his schoolwork to even date. How to get him interested in a couple of beautiful girls from Texas is something I haven't figured out yet.
He does have a lot of respect for their father though!
Well, I have succeeded in negating the time change by staying up too late. It's time for bed!
See you all later! What a fun night!

I lived in Mexico and the hand behind as shown in P. Fox's photo is totally common for men, specially when socially interacting. Mr. Fox had huge immigration dreams, but reality is exactly what our President just stated: that a solution will come by border jobs "right here in Mexico, for starters". PRICELESS!!!!!!!! Also, P. Fox missed it by aligning himself with France and Russia on the Iraq issue - expressed his opinion as a security council nation, but it was antagonistic to us.

Thank you for these photos, rintense.
It's so great to see the expressions on the faces of the world leaders as they look at our President.
We no longer have to be ashamed of the person who represents us to the world.
We are so blessed to such a President.

Congrats to Eric - not a small accomplishment! Looks like we have Officer material in the making.
I know your feeling - I was priviledged to watch my son graduate from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
He and his wife are now Children's Pastors. They have 3 beautiful daughters, and I couldn't be more proud of them.

I still walk past my son's door and sometimes reach out and just touch it, in passing.
I'm pathetic. I admit it.
To: Brad's Gramma
pathetic perhaps ... but touching your sons door is not evidence of such <grin>

I must have missed the women-hating thread....and boy, am I glad!
I did want to stop by to see the pics of the Prez from today, thanks to Rintense. But also wanted to just brag a bit with someone who would understand:
OSU RECORD NOW = 9-0

His hand position, behind his back, basically says that he (Fox) is unwillingly to be completely up front, open, or honest, almost as if he has something to hide. Now if you compare that Fox photo with photos of President Bush and other world leaders, there is a marked difference.
