President Bush and First Lady Laura greeted Chinese President Jiang Zemin and his wife, Wang Yeping in Crawford, Texas today. Bush and Zemin will be discussing the situation in North Korea as well as the war on terror. The President also issued a statement regarding the untimely death of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone. The flag over the White House was lowered to half-staff in honor of Wellstone. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Maybe there's just so much going on in the world today that everybody wanted to get on line and talk about it and it crashed everything.

But I need some Barney pictures!

But I guess, with the Prez and Laura away that's not gonna happen.

So, I'll be satisfied with a little Dubya and Laura.

I was once married to a trucker, but that is another story! LOL From what I know about it, he wanted over in your lane, and he wanted you to get the heck out of his way. They will do that if someone in front of them is going slow. They all speed, as long as they know from their CB's that no police are around.

I have been able to read the messages but not post for about an hour. I was extremely lucky tonight. It has been a very tiring day. I am still very curious about that trucker we saw today. Or nosy, as Jan would tell me!!!LOL. Granddaughter has been able to go to school all this week but she has been very tired when we have gone to pick her up at school. Her mom is in DC. Maybe she should have gone up there sooner. She is up there less than a day and they get 2 guys! I know she was glad of that. She was concerned about going up there.

Let's pray that that happens.

The Dallas Morning News, pretty much a liberal rag, endorsed Cornyn today over Kirk. Pretty telling since Kirk was Dallas' Mayor. The consensus locally seems to be that he wasn't that great.

I don't pay much attention to Dallas politics since I live in a suburban city, but Laura Miller, the new mayor, pretty well won on her anti-Kirk stance. Their fights were legendary.

Oh, come on, let us win the Senate, please!
